This firm said they use Ride-along forms in the billing statements of people's trusted vendors (i.e. Mastercard, Visa, the gas company, etc.) to solicit interest from people in certain financial products such as annuities and life insurance. They said all of the names on the list were recent inquiries (within 2 weeks) and that they had all filled out these ride-along forms requesting information. Upon receiving the names and actually calling them, all of the people I called (including a neighbor of mine that I know well) had returned anything requesting information and none of them had any interest in the products ROI represented they were interested in. This type of business practice injures everyone involved.
