ROOMS TO GO ripoff DO NOT DECIEVED BY SO CALLED WARRANTY Mesquite Texas

We purchased our living room funiture on March 2004 from Rooms To Go, along with the extended warranty. The sales person demonstrated the effectiveness of the material with a black ink pen, and cleaned it with a solution. He told us that with the extended warranty any kind of stain will be remove by the technician and if they couldn't get the stain off they will replace the merchandise.

About three months ago, we contacted them to have our sofa and love seat clean. The representative asked us what kind of stain were on the funiture we told them milk and ink. This was when we found out that ink was not covered under our warranty and the ink actually voids our warranty.

We explained to the represantive the that we were unaware of that ink was not covered and that the sales person that not informed us about this crucial datail the warranty. Even the paper work that he give us that not specified that ink was not covered and that it void the warranty.

We went into the store and spoke with the sales person and the store manager they both agreed that we should not be held liabel for something that we were unaware off. They give us some bottles of the cleaning solution the sales person used in his demonstration to clean the funiture and promise resolved the problem and the funiture cleaned at a later date. It was also at this visit, that we learned that the sales person did not give the warranty certificate; which we were given as well. The warranty certificate does not state that ink voids the warranty instead it says ink is not covered.

After several attempts to reach the sales person or the store manager the issue is still not resolved. The warranty service is still telling us that our warranty is void. Now They are not answering or returning our phone calls. Let's this serve as a warning to anyone who might be considering purchasing from Rooms To Go.
