Russell Brenner stole money from sale of vehicle Weaverville, California and McKinleyville, Oregon

My husband traded his car for Russell Brenner's truck based on a written agreement that the truck (with Oregon plates) would pass smog inspection in California. Russell Brenner couldn't smog the truck and tried to sell it in Oregon to give us the $2,000 for the car. We stayed in touch initially and he confessed that he had sold the car and used the money because his girlfriend was pregnant and they needed it. The deal was that he'd give my husband his tax return money instead. Then he dissapeared, changed his phone number, and hasn't been heard from since. If you know Russell Brenner tell him to start saving now because when we find him he's going to have to come up with $2,000 or end up in court.
