My Husband has lost his job and went on unemployment just after we signed our purchase agreement witha $10,000 deposit to Ryan Homes. Just our luck. Now NVR says we will still qualify if we pay off our debts. Exactly how do they figure this qualification? And How is that done(debt pay off) in our situation? We were not told that if most debts not paid off we would default and would not get our deposit back, go figure.
Also this money was borrowed from my mother and we need to pay her back. She is 89 and depends on her savings for income. My husband has found other work but is not making half the amount and looks like there is a possiblity he could get fired any day. Would this be default on our part and again loss of deposit?
As For the last week we have been waitting for an answer from them about our/my mothers' deposit but something tells me if will not be good. What kind of people are they and is there a God? As always the little low and middle income people get screwed.
Ryan Warner, I read your class action and I am interested but I have no way to contact you.
