Sams Club Refuses exchange or resonable return of tv Bentonville Nationwide

 I purchase a tv and extended warranty online Nov 14, 2015 and it was delivered Nov 25. On Dec 23 we noticed a pixel had gone out. We contacted Sams Club Dec 27 requesting an exchange. We were told that no exchange was available as the tv was now out of stock and our only option was to return. We contacted Sams again Dec 28 because we received an email confirming our return. After an hour they finally were able to tell me an exchange was processed and we could return when the new tv arrived. Then Dec 29 I received another email that the exchange was cancelled because it was out of stock. 2 more conversations and we were told a refund was our only option again. We asked for a refund and were informed we can only return by FedEx and would have to purchase a box because we had not retained the original box. I have contacted Sams 5 times and spent several hours and have had the worst customer service. I should not have to purchase a box to return a defective item. I would like to return in store to receive a full refund immediately.
