Transcripts from April 1, 2004 Hearing, you will hear/read of evidence testified to by teacher and counselor regarding injuries noted on the child while in mother's custody and mother's admissions to them of her abuse to the child. The most convincing evidence however is when you read the transcript of Sandra Gaches' (the mother's testimony) in which she admits to abusing the child and swears it will never happen again (although it not the first time - only the first time in a record in which the public has access to). By the way, does anyone here know what the most common phrase is that an abuser uses? That would be "IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN!"

Facts Provable by persons with access to Child Protective Services Records and/or Natural Parents:

Prior cases of proven abuse include:

*7 cuts approx. 4 -5" long across the child's back some wrapping around the sides, surrounded by bruising throughout the child's torso for which felony charges were filed and later dropped, for reasons unknown. Child, age four, states mother hit him in the chest and back with a stick because she had a flat tire. Mother's excuse: The marks weren't there when I took him home. - The child was at the hospital within 20 minutes of being dropped off and the marking were determined to be between 24 - 36 hours old)
*Child's ear severely bruised and torn caused by the mother in 2001. Child refused to speak. (Mother's excuses: He fell off the bed, changed to He fell on ice and hit his head on the corner of the house, changed to it wasn't there when I dropped him off. - The child was at the hospital for stitches within 15 minutes of returning home, videotape shows him entering house with the injuries. All of the scenerios the mother gave were discounted by doctor when questioned by social services.) Matter of Public Record in same Juvenile Record will show that Mother was placed on Supervised Vistation for Six Months on this incident.
*Teacher reported "cuts" on the child's neck in 2004 (at this point, the abuse had been thought to have stopped and father had agreed to allow child to stay temporarily with mother while father got finances under control - stupid move on dad's part). Social Worker spoke with child (now age seven). Child asks if social worker is from "DHS", then drops pants, revealing solid bruises. DHS asks child to strip, with presence of another adult. Child is solid bruise from middle of back to backs of knees. Right thumb is dislocated and severely bruised. Cuts on neck are from fingernails from being held by throat. Father was called. Child was to be removed from home. Dad comes to pick child up at end of school day only to find out social worker has been fired now. Cuts on neck are considered "transient". Mom is related to Head of DHS. Child is going home with Mom. This is the abuse admitted to in Court.

Guess who got permanent custody. Mom. Guess who gets abused daily. Child.

This is Madison County Child Protective Services at it's finest.

If you live in Madison County, Arkansas, don't let Sandra Gaches babysit your kid.
