ScoreSense.com The SCOREsense Representatives are absolutely shameless! They lie, cheat & steal...and there's NO recourse! Internet

I like to think I'm pretty consumer savvy and not naive!  I volunteered as a Consumer Mediator for several years at the Maine Attorney General's Consumer Information & Protection Division after rigerous and ongoing  training in consumer law.  Nevertheless, ScoreSense.com got me! 



I soon found out that the "credit score" they provided is a totally useless proprietory number...and definitely not the FICO score I was led to believe!  This credit score is only "useful" to ScoreSense!  It is meaningless to any and all credit grantors, all financial institutions, credit reporting agencies, at the beginning of August 2011,  I called ScoreSense and discussed my complete dissatisfaction and my wish to immediately cancel this subscription.  I was placated and did not have further communication from them...until November 21, 2011.  Almost 4 MONTHS after I cancelled the "service".  There was a debit from my checking account for $29.95, a debit I definitely DID NOT authorize!  I called ScoreSense on November 23 and asked why they done this, and they at first stated they didn't do any such thing, but I was online, on my bank's secure website and quoted exactly as displayed the details of the transaction. iScoreSense insisted someone must have hacked my account to fraudulently obtain information to steal my identity, not!

They refuse to refund this illegal debit, and what's worse, said their records showed my subscription was still active...not five minutes after telling me it wasn't they who debited my account - and assuring me they would be debiting my bank account again this month and every month thereafter.  Fortunately, I recorded the November conversation I had with them.



We shall see!
