Hired to do grading work to prevent water in basement. Signed a contract that he said he guaranteed and explained he would come back and make adjustments to make sure grading was done to prevent water in the basement. He obviously didn't know how to do the grading properly and after there was still water leaking in the basement after his initial work he tried to get me to pay another $1,000 to fix the problem that he was "guaranteeing". Do not hire, do not write him a check or give him cash be cause he will cash it immediately before you realize he is incompetent.
