I bought a condo in Portland, Tennessee. I purchased a stove and refrigerator for my new abode. I paid to have it delivered. The only problem was I had not closed on the new place yet. Sears Outlet in Hendersonville, Tennessee agreed to hold the merchandise until I notified them of the closing date.
However, everytime the delivery service gave me a delivery date it was for delivery to my old address. They would inform me that the change of delivery address had been made and the would give me a new delivery date. The new delivery date would always be a week later. It's just like the movie "Groundhog Day". The same scenario keeps repeating itself.
It has been almost a month since my purchase and still not stove or refrigerator.
I can not get the store to answer their phone
My advise is also if you can't take it with you, don't buy it because you may never see it again.

When K-mart bought Sears, they started to remove all the small delivery companies that made them successful. The delivery company for the outlet stores was called Robinson Delivery. They were small, so they cared about every single customer. but bigger is better right????? So they bring in Ceva, a transportation company trying their hand at home delivery and what did they get? 2nd class service.
Even the manager at the Hendersonville store quit, begging Sears to give her Robinson Delivery back, but in true K-mart/sears fashion, never admit mistake.
The bright side is the Hendersonville store cannot continue to lose money at its current pace and will be closing soon, followed shortly by the badly managed Thompson Lane.
