I responded to an email offering a free lap top computer if I would fill out their Reaearch Survey and visit some web sites one such site downloaditall.com offered unlimited MP3 and DVD downloads at an intro price of $1 per month for 1 year.

I accepted their offer but found I had been billed $48 on 8 Nov 2004 not mor this site but for one I did not visit called New Healthy Savings When I called to complain I explained that I had tried to use the Downloaditall site but found a singular MP3 album was still downloading after 10 hours and I have 2 way Broadband ! So I was unsuccessful and did not have any of their material, I was over charged and wanted to cancell my affiliation. They told me that their was no refund allowed. I contacted SGADA and they did make a refund and supposedly blocked future charges.

Then on 12/08/2004 SGADA debited my account for $79.95 now supposedly for a product from Urban Nutrition. There is some serious FRAUD going on here ! I am still trying to get re-imbersed for the Dec.charge. Perhaps I shall have to cancell my card and start over. Debit Card Charges show up as SGADA with phone listed as 1-800-370-5NICOSIA regardles of which Fradulant company is being paid.

Constance, I'm with you!

AUTHOR: Leah - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, February 07, 2005

If you read my report *I'm the person located in Cincinnati, OH, you will find that I dealt with Darren, a customer who YELLED and hung up on ME when HIS company make a major screwup. They are liars and thieves and their company is a tangle of lies.
Read my updates to see HOW I caught them in lies and WHAT those lies were~~I'm sure everyone who reads will be shocked as to the lack of professionalism and intelligence of Urban Nutrition and the people that work for them.

Please contact me so I can join with you in contacting those agencies that can help us shut Urban Nutrition down.

Nastiness, lies, and incompetence..THAT'S Urban Nutrition.

Who owns this lame company anyway? They need to respond to these complaints. Darren is too much of an idiot to be able to handle these things.

Not Fair - How can you blame one company for the misbehavior of another??

AUTHOR: Denise - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Thursday, January 20, 2005

Constance,
How can you blame one company for the misbehavior of another?? The only connection between the companies is the website you find them on. I have dealt with Urban Nutrition on a couple other promotional websites and they are consistant in the way they post my cedits to the promo site. Thats why I choose them everytime. I have never been billed after I cancelled my autoship program, because I understood I had to cancel within 14 days. Then I tried their My Daily Dose and immediately called back to reactivate it because it is a great product!!! So check out a company before you attack its integrity.

Rebuttal to Employee's Rebuttal

AUTHOR: Constance - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, January 08, 2005

With all due respect Darren, with so many complaints against your company, how in the world can you defend them? I am one of the many complainants here and I have to tell you that your response was mere poppycock and empty words.

** Even if your company is honest, you CLEARLY do business with and/or are associated with one that is definitely NOT. Have you read the comments and complaints posted here? Most of these people visited a site promising music downloads (only to find that none existed, nor any contact/technical support info on the site) and ended up somehow subscribing to a membership or receiving products that they did not need or want.

** Even after these people complained about the lack of music/downloads, cancelled their subscriptions or demanded their money back, they failed to receive a refund ~ some even continued to have their accounts charged for services/memberships that were supposedly canceled!

** Their efforts to personally speak with a manager or supervisor (which one can do with much larger companies such as Walmart or Sam's Club) were rebuffed ~ they were told to e-mail the supervisor (I myself included). I have never heard of such business practices.

** I have spoken to those at the large, government run business and trade policing agencies ~ they have recieved hundreds of complaints against your associates!

** The home office of the free music site is unknown. There is no contact information available to the layman on the site. It has all the appearances of a faceless entity, with some reports that it is based overseas.

With all of those points in mind, how can you defend yourself/company from these accusations? You ARE known by the company you keep. And the company you keep are dishonest thieves. And eventually they (and perhaps you) WILL go to jail or have your assets frozen.

If your company is as honest as YOU say, they will heed this warning and disassociate themselves from these thieves and swindlers. They will HAVE to do so if they care about their reputation and personal/corporate freedon.

Meanwhile, personally, I have written e-mails to the kind people at New Healthy Savings (a sister company of yours, correct?) and demanded my money back (I was rooked out of $127.95) ~ I was told it would take 10 days for the refund to appear. However, seeing as how many others were lied to on the same subject, I will spend my time complaining to the powers that be and launching my own campaign against you and yours.

I am writing several letters to nationally known newspapers complaining about your practices and warning others about you. The most rewarding thing about this is that I have printed out all the bad reports about you that I can (so far totalling approximately 116). You would have an impossible time crying "libel" or "slander." Meanwhile, some will listen to my warnings and that will that many less victims.

TO OTHERS IN MY SITUATION: Complain to the IFCC, FTC, your financial institution, the BBB, and your local police department. Dispute the charges with your bank. Have your charge/account numbers changed. Write letters to your local newspaper. Notify your local news channel ~ many of them produce "buyer/consumer beware" segments. Make these people notorious and a household name to be avoided. Tell your neighbors and long-distance relatives. Get in touch with other victims if possible. We can get these losers the justice they deserve (and possibly a lovely, intimate, roommate named "Killer" ~ and the latest fashion in orange jumpsuits). 'Nuff said.

Urban Nutrition's Response

AUTHOR: Darren - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, January 05, 2005

We apologize for you what you feel is a fraudulent action towards your account by Urban Nutrition. We are a legitimate, ethical Company and take fraud very seriously. Our order pages are coded with many various fraud prevention mechanisms. We are aligned with many marketing firms that invite consumers to try our products by offering various promotional items in exchange. I can only speak on our policies and procedures; however any company we enter into a marketing agreement with has to comply with our stringent standards and they must also display the terms and conditions of the promotion clearly on their website.

Through searching our database, we found a "Gloria" in Mountain Home, Idaho who enrolled in the Auto Ship Program for our products Serenity and MyDailyDose via our websites on 10/27 and 11/01 respectively. Her initial orders were processed and shipped to the address she provided in Mountain Home, Idaho. This customer did not cancel her participation in these programs and subsequent orders were processed on 11/28 for the Serenity and on 12/07 for the MyDailyDose according to the clearly stated terms and conditions on our order pages. These charges represent the $79.94 charge that Gloria sees on her bank statement.

We received a product return of the Serenity on 12/22 and processed a store credit in accordance to the terms and conditions of the Auto Ship Program. On 12/28 Gloria contacted our office and spoke with one of our representatives. During the course of that conversation, Gloria was allowed to return her order of MyDailyDose and we processed a Good Faith Refund based on her promise to return the MyDailyDose order. Since that date her account with us has been cancelled and nothing further will be billed or shipped to her.

Gloria's telephone call on 12/28 marks the first time this customer has contacted our office. Please note that this conversation took place the day after her posting was submitted on this site.

If you have any other concerns or questions, feel free to contact me directly at 1-800-515-1070
