I received a letter claiming I was chosen to be a Mystery Customer shopper.The letter said to call 1-289-242-7910 ext 102 then press 1.The letter had a check with it for $4998.00 and spending tasks to follow:
Salary /Training pay 300.00
WalMart................ 50.00
Gap Purchase......... 40.00
Western Union..... 1579.00
Service Fee for WU.. 99.00
MoneyGram Transfer 2873.00
Service Fee for MG.. 57.00

Total 4998.00
It was even a Cashiers check. This check is drawn on Big Sky Western Bank. I called the company to see what I had to do with the money and my instructions. The guy I spoke with was very short on the phone with me. I mean he was very short like he had an emergency. I asked him to explain it to me as I never inquired about this job.
So right quick like he says just deposit the check and wait for it to clear, then call back for instructions and the day it clears will be your starting day and if you do well we will continue to send more. Again he said so be sure to deposit the check and hung up. I couldn't find anything under their name but when I called the number it said Thanks for calling Shopping Jobs Inc.
So I started searching under that and found several scams. I am so happy I found this sight. I am sorry to hear about the ones that got ripped off. What a shame. This company needs to be stopped. I plan on calling the bank, which I must note it has as 888-262-0398 phone number. Hmmm my bank doesn't list their number on their checks.
Please be sure to verify all info before taking a big leap. I know the company name and bank address is different than the others posted but it is the exact same letters adn the same amount of money. Maybe now that they know people are onto them thru the other they are going to use something different. Good Luck to all and hopefully these companys will be stopped. I called the Big Sky Western Bank this morning. They have confirmed this is a big scam. The lady was nice. She took my phone number and said that it has been turned over to the FBI. I did call the number on the check and it said that the account has been placed on hold. Please don't fall for this or anything like this. Always check any company out. Have a good day.
