The owner Gary Lynn Dewitt threatens people of copyright infringement for sharing works that are in fact not copyrighted. Gary thinks that by saying "his" work is copyrighted and threatening people his a valid way to do business. Gary has not copyrighted any of "his" work since 2009. Verify it http://cocatalog.loc.gov/cgi-bin/Pwebrecon.cgi?DB=local&PAGE=First all you have to do is search keyword for Gary Lynn Dewitt and / or signtorch.com.

On another topic Gary Dewitt had the audacity to convert a photo to a dxf. of an already copyrighted photo (an illegal act) and then try to threaten the owner of the photo that the converted file was copyrighted by Gary.

Please do not use Signtorch's services or purchase any of "his" works because he is dishonest and hostile.

no basis in fact

AUTHOR: Gary - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, November 18, 2014

Are you the one who called the BBB with the exact same diatribe and they told you to go away because your story is not a credible complaint?

a) it does not reference any verifiable wrondoing on my part (because there is none)

b) it does not reference any wrong or harm against you or anyone you represent (because there is none)

and I will add

c) I have never confronted or been confronted by any photographer or photo copyright owner or representative thereof, ever

d) when someone creates something new, transformative, creative, and non-competitive, with their own two hands, then it is universally recognized in law that the author and creator of such works of art are to be protected by copyright,  which is an author's exclusive right to control the publication of his or her work, so all of my artwork before and since 2009 is copyrighted, and it is mine, which fact only bothers some haters and exploiters who have the audacity to argue that my artwork is not legitimate and not worthy of protection or recognition.

e) the filing of a false copyright complaint is a federal crime, you can and should report that to the FBI, the only question is: why don't you?

f) I openly publish tons of artwork, and I have never recieved a formal (or informal) verifiable copyright complaint, go figure...

g) I can be hostile, but I am not dishonest, and for you to anonymously beg people not to purchase what you characterize as "my" work speaks volumes about your character
