Silver Stream Advisors allegedly owns properties in "selected" neighborhoods that they want regular consumers to invest in by taking over ownership. They imply that they will provide property management for the clients through a 3rd party source, because they are not properly licensed they can't do it themselves, but check out who it is they hire. They hired a crew to do telemarketing and lied to everyone about their pay and the type of leads they would be calling, as well as the history of the company's sales record... none. The properties they try to sell are in the nations worst neighborhoods, but they won't disclose that. I was among the people hired and lied to. Once I discovered the lies, I quit and now the owner, Greg, refuses to pay for the time I and others ahd worked there claiming that it's not an obligation to pay employees, he only pays if he feels like it.

For anyone interested in really knowing the truth, the allegations provided by my EX husband are false and come from anger, jealousy and intent to deflamate Gregg's character. It blows my mind that such malicious allegations and words to attack a person's character would be published like this. I feel sorry for my EX husband and the animosity he carries in his soul. All I can say is my husband, Gregg is a great husband and father. He is loyal and committed to working hard to do whats right in any situation he is put in. I don't feel any satifaction in lying about someone and putting them down to make myself better, so I will save you all the truths I could use to attack my EX husband in this rebuttal. 

Those who know Gregg and I know the truth or care enough to ask.

I started a business with Greg and from the moment we started working together the lies never stopped. He lied to employees as well as clients. He lied to me and other employees frequently about numerous items. I became aware of him inflating fees for clients and lying to them or withholding information from them to get a deal through. 

He was supposed to split income but he hid income so he would not have to split it. When the company dissolved, suddenly there was no money in the company account. A simple example of one of his lies. Greg states in his bio on his website that he was president of Utah Mortgage Lenders Association. That is a lie. He was president of Southern Utah Mortgage Lenders Association, a small branch of the UMLA. Most of his bio is very deceiving and misleading. The former company he worked for was closed by the SEC for being a "Ponzi Scheme" where he was the President. 

The response by Anna, a "happy" employee with the "best boss I have ever worked for" is extremely prejudiced. In fact Anna and Greg have been having an affair for over 6 years. Anna moved to Salt Lake to be with Greg and only recently divorced while Greg is still married. Greg's family is in Texas while he is in Salt Lake continuing the affair with Anna. Anna was also part of the business in St. George when I worked with Greg. I know them both extremely well. Greg has been lying to and deceiving employees, friends and family for years. I have proof of the long term affair.  

Deana tries to prove that the allegations must be incorrect because they would not want someone with poor grammar working for their company. I know many people with poor grammar and spelling who are very successful. If you read Anna's response, she also has misspelled words, so I guess that doesn't really matter. 

I see many references to Greg and his company as successful, honest and ethical from his "employees" and friends. If he is, why would his house in St. George be in foreclosure? 

Bottom line. If there was one complaint, maybe it could be a mistake, but when you have three saying almost the exact same thing it is extremely hard to believe it is not true.

Fact: I am Adam Ross. Fact: Shelley Diaz is not my wife. Fact: We were each working at other places of employment when I saw the CL posting for the job at Silver Stream and after speaking with Mike Ross on the phone I encouraged Shelley to go and apply with me. On the phone Mike said that if I new anyone that could do the job to bring them along.



Fact: We both were introduced to Steve and Anna on Monday, our first day of training. Have you ever had a first day when you weren't dragged along to see the facilities and introduced around as part of orientation? Point of fact, both steve and Anna came down to the call center office from the admin offices upstairs to speak with Don Hill and met us while there.



Fact: We asked Anna and Don that first day for hiring paperwork and were told to wait just a little while and Anna would bring it back down later.



Fact: We met Gregg that first day along with Nathan , as well. We shook hands with everyone we met and since the entire company is made up of only a dozen or so people, I would say those people who denied meeting us have serious issues if they can't remember meeting us only 3 months ago. It's not like there's a 100 people working there.



Weds morning when Don was late to work, yet again, Anna had no key to the call center office, so she just went up to her office and left Us waiting for Don in the hallway. As she went up we asked if we could get the hiring paperwork and she said to wait until the meeting. Gregg showed up and after trying to use a credit card to jimmy the lock open, he finally found the magnet key to let us into the office minutes before Don finally arrived.



Fact: I will not be posting any more follow up rebuttals to this because the labor board in Utah has seen the validity to our case and is doing an investigation. Any false testimony given by Silver Stream staff will be held against them should this go to court and if summoned to court they need to change their stories to the truth or they will be charged with purgery.



Fact: I do not dispute that Silver Stream provides investors with profitable properties. It was Don Hill who showed us where the Section 8 properties were located in places like Kansas City and I have lived in there before and I know what the neighborhoods are like first hand.



All I can say in summary is that Shelley Diaz and I both quit our full time jobs to begin to work at Silver Stream and we had nothing, but the highest esteem for the company until Don Hill lied about a variety of things and right to our faces. We asked Nathan, a nice man and a Vice President there, to ask Gregg for a meeting when he was available later that day and it never happened. We refused to work with Don and asked Nathan if he would want to work with someone who lied constantly and also lied to clients on the phones. He agreed that that was not cool and said that a meeting with Gregg was definitly a good idea. So we said we would leave it in his hands to talk to Gregg for us. We never quit and we were never officially terminated. Nathan assured us both that he would have Anna send our checks to us if necessary. So, now it is in the hands of the labor board and all attorney inquires are to be directed to them. We only wanted our pay for 20 hours of work. If the company is struggling that bad that they can't pay us then I am sorry for them. If they are doing as well as they say then they should just send us our paychecks, per the labor laws of the United States. This entire issue is over $400.00 and this is all very rediculous. Oh and for those who have written defamatory things about me like calling me an extorsionist, which is calling me a criminal, (That is a lot diferent than claiming that someone is mistaken about some facts and lying about others.) Criminal charges will be filed. Thank you

I love my job at Silver Stream Advisors.  I wish every company was run this way, where the owner of the company treats my colleagues and me like partners instead of employees.  Consequently we work incredibly well together, think through and overcome obstacles together and have success and fun doing it. 

To address the specific claim that Gregg only pays when he feels like it, I am always paid on time and sometimes ahead of time. 

I have seen nothing that matches the claims in the initial report.  Not even a little bit.

I have worked for Silver Stream Advisors since they start. Silver Stream has been the best company to work for. Gregg Wood, CEO, treats his employees with respects and values the talent each of them adds to the company. Gregg has an open door policy and has always made time to address any concern his employees have brought to his attention. Gregg has gone over and above in his efforts to pay his employee, even going as far as to give employees an advance in their time of need. Gregg runs a very honest and transparent company with his employees and clients. 

Silver Stream Advisors' employees go beyond their job descriptions when it comes to customer service and make every effort to communicate open and honestly with their clients. Silver Stream offers several resources to their investors to assist a buyer with their due diligence. Silver Stream provides ample information to a potential investors as to area, property data and photos.  Silver Steam and there team, have spent countless hours researching the areas and product they offert to their investors. Silver Stream has successfully closed several transaction with very happy investors. 

I was introduced to Adam and his friend the day of a meeting we held. I had prepared new hire packages for Adam and his friend. I presented the paperwork to them at the meeting. After filling out the paperwork, I explained the payroll process to all the new employees that were there that day. (4 other new employee) Adam and his friend became very upset about the next paychecks being issued on the 15th, as was set up.  I tried to explain why it was set up that way, since an employee needed to be paid for actual hours worked, Adam and his friend tore up there employee paperwork and told me they were quitting right now and would not be working for the company. I was shock and taked back that he would do that; therefore,  I did not have any paperwork or record of them ever being hired as employees, nor do I have or have I ever received any evidence of hours worked.  

Silver Stream has always paid their employees on time and has always been very fair in their compensation. Gregg Wood is the best boss I have ever worked for. Gregg is very compassion and understanding of his employees need and the needs of others. Gregg would never treat an employee as Adam has accused,  let alone another human being.

Silver Stream doesn't hide anything.  We offer prospective clients any information they are seeking in regards to our properties, neighborhoods and rehab work that was completed.  Our goal is simple, to make our investors money with as little headache as possible!  Our neighborhoods range from working class to upper middle class. 

We let investors know if there are tenants in the properties already or if we are looking for tenants.  Gregg Wood, the CEO, has even paid the first months rent for our investors if they are not rented out by their closing dates.  He will disclose what we paid for our properties, the amount we invested to do the rehab work and our markup.  We feel a successful transaction is one where both parties walk away satisfied.  I personally had a client that was asking for a discount on a property and he knew exactly what we paid for it.  I then asked him what he thought was fair and he didn't respond with a lower price.  I sent him the paperwork with a discount and he signed it without hesitation.  I later asked him if he felt our markup was fair and he said it was more than fair.

The bottom line is that we are a very ethical company and we have many satisfied clients and employees to prove that!

This is a sad case of a husband and wife that came into our company wanting to work. They came into the office one day, and quit before filling out any paperwork or officially being hired. They did not like the Sales Manager and said they could not work for him. They never even talked to me personally.  They contacted me very recently and tried to extort funds from me through threats such as filing this report on RipoffReport.com. 



Let me now address their claims;  Silver Stream Advisors looks for rental properties that provide strong, positive monthly rental income, and package them into low-hassle, no-pressure investments. 



Low-hassle does not mean no-hassle and we do not imply in any of our written material that we are full-service. 



We do not offer property management because that would mean we were trading in Securities.  Part of our service includes introducing buyers to professional property managers to help them after the transaction is closed. 



Please do take a look at our Management staff, http://www.slvrstream.com/about-silver-stream.html.  I have paid every employee on time from day one and have paid them what they were contracted for, (and often more than they were contracted for.)  



We have had sales every month we have been in business, and I will show anyone every transaction, we have nothing to hide.  Silver Stream Advisors uses a professional payroll service and it is done officially.  



Again, I never personally met these two people or hired them.  Every one of our clients as well as actual

employees, past and present, has been taken care of and is completely happy. We are first and foremost a customer service company and have a perfect record. We welcome to be challenged by anyone whith our business and practices.
