Six Flags Entertainment Corp. Six Flags Discovery Kingdom Inadequate Marketing Disclosures and Unfair Trade Practices Grand Prairie Texas

Family was on vacation in Northern California and we visited the sister park to Magic Mountain in CA called Discovery Kingdom.  Sometime later, we were solicited by Six Flags via email offering us a gold pass.  The literature indicated the gold pass could be used at any six flags park.  I called both Discovery Kingdom and Magic Mountain, which is closer to our home, to confirm that the pass could be used at both parks.  At no time while on the phone with personnel at either park was I told that we could not activate these passes without driving all the way back to Discovery Kingdom hundreds of miles away.  Disclaimers to warn customers of this fact were either not present or buried.  When we visited Magic Mountain recently, we were given the run around and told we could not use our vouchers.  When we tried to reach someone to resolve at Six Flags, we were unable to get anyone on the phone who is willing to take responsibility.  When we called the technical support department, which was the published number on the original email solicitation, no supervisors were available to speak with us and we were not able to leave a message for a supervisor to call as apparently that is against Six Flags policy? Seriously, Six Flags, a real disappointment.
