soft4download.com Tried to steal from my credit card, after promising refund for no product delivered. Internet

I ordered Microsoft Frontpage 2003 from them, and found out it was too big to download on dial up. They replied by having me download a download manager. I should have known that I was in trouble when the same tech told me to turn of my anti-virus and firewall for the download (which I did not). Unfortunately I could not finish the download as their servers kept saying "download completed" when it was not.

Today I called them up at a number provided by someone else who also got ripped off by them. They promised to refund my money in the morning. Instead, what I got was a call from a company asking me if a transaction on my credit card (the same one that I used for the software download) was for real or not, as it was an out of state order! In other words, I think that they used my card number to order merchandise.

Do NOT do business with this site. The phone number I provided is different but is is the same scam site. Avoid!
