Sony, Sony Style Sony KDL-19M4000 19" BRAVIA M Series LCD Flat Panel HDTV - Black BEWARE Laredo Texas

purchased the 19" BRAVIA M Series LCD Flat Panel HDTV - Black (may I emphasize the word BLACK) The reason I did purchase this unit was for the color - when I received the product and un packed it I was amazed to find that the backing to the unit is WHITE - now where in the description (nor is there any photo) that indicates the unit has a White backing. This really takes away from the whole look I wanted when purchasing the unit. (the unit even says that it comes it other colors such as silver and white) I have purchased a 42 inc h Bravia TV in Black and the whole unit front and back is Black. This is very disconcerting not to mention VERY misleading.

I am a huge fan of Sony products and I must say this one product as displayed and detailed in verbiage has no mention of a white backing - look for yourself on their website - The whole back f the unit is WHITE - nowhere does it show or state that - I told them i wanted to return it and that it is false advertising. they said i could return it and get refunded but will have to pay for the shipping to me and back to them (are they serious?) You can never get a hold of anyone there - and when you do they tell you miss-information of how to get somewhere on their website. They don't even know where to direct you. This is an OBVIOUS mistake of Sony - I feel they should get refunded everything in FULL and if they were really customer friendly they would have offered me something similar for a discount for all the time i have spent (4 days email and phone) just to get an answer that I could return it but have to pay for shipping - like it is my fault they tell you they unit is BLACK and the whole back side of the unit is WHITE! They still have not even updated the product description.

Customer Care is a JOKE - it should be Customer who cares. I hve bought several Sony products in the past 6 months and they should know that they are losing a serious customer. I also plan to seriously write an extensive letter to the head office in Japan.
