A group of “friends” who all work for South Carolina Business Consultants went out to a club/bar and were drinking and dancing.  The youngest employee in the group was a 19 year female and the eldest was a 28 year old male; who was also a “supervisor” at SCBC.  The 19 year old female came to the club/bar with another female employee.  The 28 year old male made passes at the 19 year old female throughout the night.  At the end of the night the 19 year old female was so intoxicated that she had to be “carried” to the car. 

However, instead of escorting her to the car of the female that she arrived with, the 28 year old male insisted on taking the 19 year old female to his car, arguing that he would be the best person to get her home safely.  Instead of taking the 19 year old female safely home, the 28 year old male pulled over to the side of the road and began to sexually assault the 19 year old female who was evidently drunk and vulnerable.  Throughout the assault, the 19 year old female rejected the 28 year old male by using her hands to push him off (the male is 3 times the size of the 94lb female). 

Thankfully this worked and the 28 year old male finally took the 19 year old female to another female co-worker house who had been partying with them.  The next day the 19 year old female realized she did not have her phone. After asking around the group, the 28 year old returned the 19 year olds phone to her without any logical explanation as to why he was in possession of it to begin with.  The 19 year old questioned the 28 year old about what she recalled from the previous night and in response the 28 year old said that he was following her lead. 

The 19 year old conversed with each of the fellow employees about the incident and the consensus was that the 28 year old had a reputation for taking advantage of women at the work place.  The following work day, the 19 year old formally complained to the owner of SCBC, who questioned the 28 year old male. The result of the questioning was “his word against hers”.  The owner of SCBC told the 19 year old that there was nothing that he could do.  Unsatisfied with the resolution, the 19 year old filed a police report.  When news of the police report reached SCBC, the 19 year old female was “isolated”.  Majority of the employees had stopped conversing with her. 

It was obvious that SCBC had taken an unofficial stand on the incident and sided with the 28 year old long time employee.  Feeling betrayed, out-casted, and unfairly treated, the 19 year old quit; which was what the SCPD advised her to do.  No company can control what employees do off-campus and in their own time. However, what character of business, leader, man or mentor are you IF such an incident can occur without any repercussions? Why is a grown man (28 years old) drinking with 19 year olds?

It appears that SCBC supports:

Underage drinking

Sexual assault against women

Unethical behavior


unsafe working environment

It takes a lot of courage to come forth and report sexual assault; especially when you have to interact with your accuser on a daily basis.  The 19 year old is a role model and a leader, one who doesn’t follow the masses stands for truth.  She speaks out for all women, especially teenage women who find themselves drinking with preying vultures.  It is unfortunate that when in a position of power men don’t have the moral capacity to do the right thing.  The ability to lead and make right decisions is an innate characteristic that cannot be taught.

There was a better, more professional, ethical and legal way to deal with this matter but you can’t expect professionalism from a company owned by a criminal who facilitates the violation of young women who call him “Boss”

Wow I sure would like to know who wrote this?? It was obviously a girl, it wasn't Ross girlfriend was it or was it the girl who was on Denny team?? Or could have been someone from TL marketing who wrote this and there was really 2 main girls in their office at the time
