After receiving hundreds of spam and regular e-mails from this company I decided to reply and get the low down. After being laid off from Corning in the Blacksburg Virginia area I needed to get employment ASAP. So I replied and got called. I spoke with a representive from SMC out of Arizona. I kept requesting something in writing. The sales pitch is overwelming. Especially in todays economy with unemployment so high.

At 52 years old and being a professional for over 30 years I was surprised I couldn't get a job delivering pizzas. So I bought into the total BS and folks let me tell you it's BS. One main problem was I so wanted everything this individual stated to be true I decieved myself into believing. Over and over I requested information to be sent through the US mail. Over and over the sales rep stated that all I needed to do was pay a certain amount then and there and everything would be down loaded to my computer.

After an hour and a half the price of the package had changed from $314.95 to $214.95 to $149.95 to $59.95 to $29.95 to $15.95 down to $2.95. The sales rep didn't want me to lose the outstanding discounts and decided that since I wanted and demanded written information sent through the US mail I only needed to pay shipping and handling. Now here's where I become a total moron and jackass.

I give this individual who promised that for quality assurance and legal purposes the conversation was being recorded my credit card information including that security code on the back of the card. Now for $2.95 I figured that if I do find out this is wacked out BS I havn't loss that much. The sales rep stated that the information and membership package would be at my home within 3-5 business days. It's now been 15 business days and still no information or package.

However, within 5 minutes of hanging up my credit card was hit for every single individual stated charges above. When I tell you everyone I mean everyone. There are now on my statement 16 individual charges and the thing is they are all different amounts done on 6 different days.
SMC made the mistake of believing that everyone that calls into them are ignorant asses. Well folks I may be a jackass for giving out my credit card bank information, However I am an honorably disharged 8 year combat Marine.

I decided to check my account online a few minutes after giving permission for the $2.95 charge. I sat in amazment as I watched charge after charge go onto my card. Luckly for me I was able to contact my card holder fraud department immediately. No actual funds have gone to this company from my account. However, again the card company allowed them to attempt to charge the card all these days for charges to be filled with the United States Attorney General.

I guess they really the pick the Wrong Marine. Now what would have happened and how long would I have had to fight to get that money returned if I had just ordered and let it go waiting for the membership package . Again, by the grace of GOD I checked my account immediately and prevented out right theft by a lawless rip off company. This report is filed in the hopes of saving someone else from being taken in by these worthless criminals.
