SR & Associates Solicitation for multilevel credit card processing scheme in excess of $70.00. Junk "snail mail" mass marketer from obtained email lists. Weston Florida

I am a bit confused.

After receiving a letter that solicits a $70.00 fee for joining their great multilevel credit card mail order processing scheme, a simple search finds these culprits listed on your Greater Miami Chamber server at

http://www.northmiamichamber.com/currentmembers1.asp

Their snail mail letter originates from an industrious spammer who harvested my physical address (with fictitious name imbedded) from email sources.

On the one hand, SR & Associates at 318 Indian Trace #634, Weston, Fl 33326 appears in your currentmembers1 database listing. However a search of your web "Members Listings" turns up nothing. Which is it? Are they, or are they not members of Miami Chamber of Commerce? There is neither contact person, nor phone number listed for follow up information, or inquiry.

In either case they have obtained an ill-gotten mailing list with a fictitious name (BarneyXXXXXXXXXXXXXX) attached to my physical address. This was harvested from an email list which was supposedly "private" (never the less, I still proceeded with caution in my dealings with supposedly "trusted" internet companies - hence the immediate recognition of my 'bogus' name).

I would appreciate any further information about this company that you can provide. Please withhold and maintain my email address and all identifying information contained herein.
