SSTSST Card Services Providian Bank Columbus Bank & Trust, CB&T third party billing rude abnoxious terrible awful customer service providian sold my account to CB&T Columbus Georgia

I am so upset I am shaking right now...

I loved Providian, and then they sold my account to CB&T who then outsourced all customer service to SST.

No incidents until today when I received my bill, which didn't reflect my online payment from about 10 days ago. The agent said I probably didn't click the confirm button after the submit button, I agreed and asked if they could do anything about the $39 late fee, she asked me how much I could pay, I said I can pay my entire balance, but she said that they will only remove the fee if it is SSTs fault. I asked again saying "Please, there must be something you can do..." She then put me on hold, when she returned she asked again how much I would pay, and said she would send a note to her supervisor once I made payment and it would be up to them. I was very appreciative and said thank you.

15 minutes later once I arrived at work I attempted to log in to www.yourcardaccount.com to make my payment. But it kept bringing me to some Canadian credit card website.

So I called SST to ask them about this and they let me know they were having trouble with their website. I then told the lady about my situation and said perhaps this is why my payment doesn't reflect on my bill, I told her my situation and the day I went online to make a payment, she responded by saying, Well sir we don't make mistakes, and you shouldn't wait until the last day to pay your bills anyway. WOW, I said you are snot! And asked to speak with her supervisor.

Some time later, her supervisor, Shawn #5446 came on the line and said he reviewed my account and wanted to know how he could help me. I went through the entire story and he replied by saying, OK Sir the reason you were called was because you are late. I said actually Shawn, I called first thing once I received my bill, and nobody called me. Shawn replied, OK well sir I will talk to the representative but what they told you is true and you need to make a payment. I then asked Shawn why he had an attitude, he replied by telling me that SST is not competitive, that I am not their customer, CB&T is their customer and furthermore they are a not required or obligated to show any level of customer service to myself since I am not their customer.

Shawn ended the call by saying he has a lot of people get upset when they find out we will not refund their late fees and that is just their policy.

I tried to tell Shawn this has nothing to do with the late fee, which was already handled, this was simply an attempt to bring to his attention an inappropriate comment one of their employees had been to me, specifically stating that I shouldn't wait until the last day to pay my bills. Shawn said the representative statement was correct; however he would handle it internally, but if I was still unhappy that I could cancel my account at any time.

This is the worst...

And the sad thing is Shawn is 100% correct.....
