The Fact That Ryan Patrick Toronyi From Stone Valley Landscaping Replies to this Report after few months, means that Ripoff Reports website is working.

No Consumer will waste time to write reports on social media unless the consumer WAS SCAMMED! Make sense!  We as individuals were scammed by this bogus contractor and we did learn our lesson, the hard way.

As for other contractors, did not get paid, of course, that is not true, how would a runaway contractor like Ryan know such a thing! In fact, at the same time Ryan was working or suppose to complete a job, we were doing renovations inside the house by another contractor and we were installing an underground pool by a third contractors, 60k was paid in full in advance to the pool company (reference available), renovation contractor got paid in full as well(reference available). Both contractors did an amazing job, completed their jobs professionally, got paid in full. 

In fact, one of the other 2 contractors warned me about Ryan but unfortunate I did not listen!!! 

I did put an ad on Kijiji to warn consumers about him and I was shocked when I did get 3 replies from 3 different peoples having the same issue like me, One of them told me that he did a bad review on Ryan Facebook page, That is why Ryan took down this page for a while. Another one told me that it has been almost a year and Ryan did not complete the job. (Reference available).

I have a signed letter from Ryan old boss, explaining why Ryan was dismissed from the company, Available upon request in person, Although I have authorization from his employer to post it online. I have emails, letters, voice recordings between us as individuals and Ryan, proving how unprofessional he is.

I told Ryan, he has a gift, he could be a top contractor in the industry ONLY, if he stops acting unprofessionally, Take people deposits and spend it on personal use instead of buying materials. The problem he takes the deposits and spends it then comes back asking for more. We were fooled, Ryan was always on time, spend hours explaining the process of the jobs and designed, then, everything changed after he took 50% deposit. Nothing of what he said is right.

Yes, he is a small contractor, that is why I didn't take him to court, he owns nothing, so it will be waste of time and money going after him in court. and yes, Ryan work alone, because he can not hire anyone. 1 single person will complete your job. Good luck on that. I am a business owner for 18 years in Ontario, have a solid reputation in my industry, you are more than welcome to come visit me and show you all evidence.

The name Ryan using, Stone Valley Design and Construction is a well-known contractor in Toronto so do not get fooled, I have contacted the owner of that business and he is aware of what is going on. Toronto contractor has an HST number, Business number and well known to the community. You hire Ryan or not, that is a question you should ask yourself, and it is your full responsibility.  Just put in mind that you will not be able to go after Ryan if anything goes wrong because he has nothing that protects your money.

You want to hire Ryan! go ahead but an advice, Do NOT give him deposits, Material? Go pay for it yourself because he will take your money and spend it!! Hopefully, This report will help others not to be Ryan new victim!

PS: I am not attacking Ryan as a person, I am complaining and warning others from his business and the way he runs it. Do your due diligence before hiring a contractor. there is a lot of scams going on.

This client did in fact provide a deposit towards their project, but not in the amount they've listed. I invested over two months of my season providing them my time, labour and materials. Their project was completed to roughly 80 percent - I've taken a number of photos of my work and have what I've completed well documented. Upon growing concerns that I would not recieve further payments as they became due, while additional work they requested was taken-on and completed without embursement, I sought professional advice from other local contractors and industry professionals about what steps I should take moving forth.

I'm not the only contractor whom they've failed to pay, or whom they've slandered. This client has made a number of accusations against my person and business. My name is Ryan Toronyi - Stone Valley Landscape Design & Construction. I do reside and operate in the Niagara Falls region. I keep a large portfolio of the work I've done, continue to do, and the references of a number of satisfied clients. I am newer to the area, coming from rural Nova Scotia. I'm a new father and an independent contractor.

I do not maintain a large staff, and it does take me longer then expected to complete a project, sometimes I even "bit off more then I can chew", but I have and continue to do my best to work around the weather, requests of my clients, personal life, and so on. Because of this client, and in part the weather this season, I have (like a number of seasonal contractors) fallen behind schedule... it's been a struggle attempting to catch-up. I continue to work hard to do so, and have been blessed with very patient and understanding clients - all of whom upon request have either recieved their deposits back, discounts, and/or upgrades/additional work in exchange for their patience.

I have copies of the contract between myself and this client, the termination of that contract I provided (with reasons of), our conversation history, accusations they've made both related and unrelated to their project, and as mentioned photo records of the work provided/completed. Please read everything they've written about me and feel free to judge for yourself. I like to think I'm a pretty open book, perhaps D#### and I### will be willing to make their remarks providing their full names and address. I find it very unprofessional and unsettling what they've said about me personally here online. It's embarassing, damaging, and hurtful. I have no further interest in this online/public display. We've given him tips on how to be a successful human being. Turns out, he is not human whatsoever. You are the worst role model of a contractor. We have nothing to hide, nothing!! You are simply hiding and because we were good people, when you told us that you have a newborn baby, we wanted to help. You disgust me. You'll reply back with lies and lies, and everyone is expecting it. But I am OPEN. Anyone can come to me, to my Office, or to meet me face to face. Now, let's talk about the police report that was filed two days ago, and your sexual harassment that you've committed to your past clients. You should be ashamed of yourself,. Let's talk about Niagara Block, who were witnesses of you running away from the store, because you didn't have our money. You are a cancer that grew in our skin. Don't ever compare yourself to us. We are great people, professionals, educated and foremost, possess dignity, something you don't have and will never have. We've given you $9,000.00 by check, and you've spent it all on your wife, that again has no education whatsoever.

 The amount they listed as a deposit provided is incorrect and did not cover all material costs. This client refused in writing to pay for labour. This client made multiple threats to slander me and my business in what I can only assume were attempts to bully me into lowering my prices and getting more out of me. In return after completing over 2/3rds of their project, and not receiving payment towards labour. I gave them the proper notice that I was cancelling the contract between us. I have plenty of great references, from both clients and material suppliers. I will going further advise other contractors in the area to be aware when dealing with these clients. Who's identities I can at least hold myself mature and professional enough not to make public. At no point in time were these clients invoiced for more than the estimate provided and agreed upon.
