Hello.

I bought into the STORESONLINE seminar here in New Zealand. I have until the 16th June to cancel my order which is tomorrow. I am unsure of what to do as I have read conficting stories of success. Some people say that it has worked and others have horro stories.

Any advice would be great. I purchased all 6 sites and paid by credit card. I really would like some help as to what i shoud do.

Thanks

the money we paid has now been credited back into my account - IN FULL.

AUTHOR: T - (New Zealand)

POSTED: Sunday, June 26, 2005

I am the original poster of this thread and would just like to update everyone. We cancelled our account on the 16th of June at about 7pm (we had until 12pm that night until our 3 days were up). I am happy to let everyone know that the money we paid has now been credited back into my account - IN FULL.

We have been given instructions on where to send the kit that we got an will be doing so in the morning.

If you want to get your money back then my advice is not to muck around. I faxed through the form and emailed as well. I didn't hear back from then so I rang and talked to a rep that was very helpful and told me that it was being processed and the funds would be credited very soon. And they were there 2 days later.

Perhaps their customer service is getting better??

Thanks

Storesonline will NOT be going out of business, either now or in the future.

AUTHOR: Paul - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, June 25, 2005

There is a reason for that.

They sell false hope to the people that are desperate.

Imagine yourself for one minute, adrift in an area that offers little in the way of jobs or opportunities to make a decent life for yourself.

Your cards are maxed out. You're 60 to 90 days behind on some accounts. You're already working two s**t jobs just to keep your head above water.

You're in desperate straits.

And, what do all drowning people do? They grab at anything that drifts by. Straws. Floating soda bottles.

Then, an outfit like storesonline rolls into town and pitches their tent. They've got the s**t down. The men are successful-looking in nice suits. The women wear short skirts and g-string underwear.

The stand up and run this well-honed pitch of internet profits to people who barely know how to use a search engine.

Desperate people. People who drive around on the space-saver spare for 3 months because they don't have tire money.

You know what the outcome is going to be. Every one of those desperate people is going to fall hook, line, and sinker for the con.

They will proceed to go home and do whatever they have to in order to make the down payment.

The only hope there is for those people is right here, on this site.

A few of them will be cautious enough to search for storesonline first. If they find their way here, they will be able to read all the warnings.

Those who don't search will lose whatever little bit of money they had left to their names.

You don't need to be a marketing genius to understand that you can always sell false hope to desperate people.

SOL will not give a refund before or after 3 DAYS!

AUTHOR: Shemonika - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, June 25, 2005

Storesonline will have to have more lawsuits against them to make any impact. I do believe this company will go down the tubes soon because the country of Australia is investigating their business practices, the British newspapers wrote a bad report about them in their business section earlier this year, the State of Texas pending lawsuit, the state of California may be investigating again from what I heard on this website, and I got the state of Illinois to start an inquiry about these clowns. I also read Storesonline business reports and even the CEO admitted that only 1/3 of all contract holders had a credit score of 620 (the average score is 670 and above). Therefore, most people were of lower income status and was not sold a business, but a bunch of crap in a box.

You can also get these negative remarks off your account by writing a letter to all 3 credit bureas explaining why the account is not yours. I actually got the bad marks off my account.

AUTHOR: Diane - (Canada)

POSTED: Friday, June 24, 2005

Stores Online has been circulating the Eastern Provinces of Canada for far to long!! they are the most arrogant people, with the best sales pitch ive ever met. (and my dads a car salesman so ive heard them all)

I called to cancel my account after finding out all this scamming and fraud stuff about stores online, Matt sure made me look like a fool.. of course not taking my cheque book with me to write out the down payment for financing was a good idea.. so we decided to get the platinum deal its the best.. blahblahblah..

sends me to the bank to get a cheque and stupid me I DID IT! but thank god it was for a bank account i rarely use and has little to no money in it so i of course call the bank put a stop payment on it, and im home free assuming they dont try to cash the cheque and start my contract, to bad for you SOL your not getting this college girl's money.

I know what you need to do NOW!

AUTHOR: Shemonika - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Wednesday, June 15, 2005

I would cancel the contract and by law you have three days to do so. Paul is right, 99% of the complaints are because of poor service, no service, refund issues, and credit issues. If I would you, I would look at Msn's finance section about this sorry excuse of a company. The state of Texas is suing and there is also a pending class action lawsuit because of securities fraud. Mr. Danks, the CEO even admitted at the investor's conference; that they sold contracts to people with less than good credit (only 1/3 of the people had a credit score of 620 or higher). People that have subprime credit are usually low-income indivduals that need extra money just to pay their bills month to month. All of this information can be found in a google search of storesonline compplaints.

They are also doing investigations in Australia as well because of misrepresenting their products. You are keep their product go through pure hell trying to deal with them. Also, you mention that paid with a credit card. You have 60 days from the transition to do a chargeback on this account. Any paperwork you received from them, keep it because it does come in handy. There are almost 300 complaints on this website alone, there are over 100 complaints on complaints.com and sqeaukywheel. You need to go your credit card company NOW!

Have you read even a fraction of the complaints here? Have you ever seen anybody say that they made money?

AUTHOR: Paul - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Tuesday, June 14, 2005

Where the hell did you see someone who actually claimed to make any money?

All I ever saw is one complaint after another here. They all say the exact same thing. The crooks took the money and never provided any web service.

Besides, there's no fortune on the web anyway. People only think there is. That's why the con worked so well. People have misconceived ideas of how to make money. Frauds capitalize on that.

Your only hope lies in getting the credit card carrier to reverse the charges. Even then, the crooks will destroy your credit and hound you for payment.

Personally, if you can't get the credit company to reverse the charges, I'd dump the whole mess on them.

That's the only out that I can see for you.

No matter how you turn, you will lose on this whole mess.
