In November of 2005, I called IGIA's 800# to order one of their stormvacs for two payments of 39.95. I was to receive a second vacuum as well for the price of shipping and handling and a steamer for the price of shipping and handling. To receive my order much sooner (3 to 7 business days) I agreed to pay alittle more for shipping.
A few weeks went by and I was getting concerned but thought perhaps it was due to the upcoming holidays (Christmas).

Shortly, thereafter, I received my credit card bill and they had charged me for 4 vacuums!

I immediately called them and told them that I did not order 4 vacs, I hadn't received any vacs and I no longer wanted the order to be placed and to please cancel it and credit my card.

The young lady I spoke with seemed quite surprised by this mistake and told me the order was cancelled and that I should see the credit on my card the next billing cycle.
I did not come off my card, so I called again on 12/29/05. They were going to notify accounting. Again on 1/27/06, again, notifying accounting. Again on 3/9/06, I spoke with a young lady named Emma and she said I was due to have my account credited on 3/10/06.

I called again on 4/10/06 and spoke with someone named Annette and she said my card should have been credited back in Jan. and gave me a number to the corporate office. I have continually called this number (1-800-716-8667) and can't reach anyone. The line is always busy!! I am out $349.50 from this company and am very, very upset. DO NOT deal with this company! I'm shocked at how many people they have scammed. And I'm sure most of them are very cautious consumers as well. The infomercial comes off as a very reputable company... and it's NOT!
