SUBCO SUBSCRIBE MAGAZINES IN MY NAME WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE FRESNO California

I started to receive magazines in the mail that I would never order for myself in my name which was spelled wrong.  I mailed the mailing labels back to the magazine.  Then I received a postcard from the magazines regarding my subscription, that my order was placed through an agency, and therefore, it is necessary that you contact them at 800-258-4450.  Their agreement with all agencies is tht any such actions be taken only with their approval. 

This came from R. Strack, Customer Service Center.  I called the number provided and got a recording saying the company name as Subco.  I have sent an email to them requesting cancellation of all magazines.  Haven't received a reply yet.  I also, indicated I found out from the Better Business Bureau tht their practice is very common.
