Just like alot of other people they called and said they were calling on my behalf because I owned one of the credit cards participating in a drawing. I was also told that I would get a paper that I would need to return to get my diamond watch which I never got and each time I asked about it they said I would get it...still have never recieved it. I was offered their magizines, was told that it would be 15.00 a month for 5 magizines (4 reg monthly and 1 weekly) and it would be made in payment of 4 months at a time. Now they do not tell you that you pay monthly 60.00 a month and that you are paying for the 2 years up front, this you learn later only if you call back serveral times and tell them that it was misunderstood. I am sure that the employees there must be trained very well on what exactly to say to get you to think that it is 15.00 a month, and what they are not allowed to say. Even after I heard the recording of what I "agreed" to I was still confused and still thought that I was going to be paying 60.00 for 4 months payments in advance-- in other words I would only be charged every 4 months not monthly 60.00. I dont see how they can get away with saying you are only paying 15.00 a month for the magizines but then can charge you 60.00 a month, that is playing with words and I am sure they only reason that they are getting away with it is because it has not be taken to court. I have been calling this company back from the first month trying to get them to cancle this because I was not recieving the magizines even though they were chargeing me the 60.00 a month. I put a stop order on the payment and a block on the card and called they and told them I had not recieved any magizines (I figured I would at least get the weekly magizine after 6 weeks) I was told it could take 2-3 months before I would see any magizines. I then asked why am I getting charged the 60.00 for the first 4 months in advance then I I will not be getting any magizines, this is when they informed me that it was not 60 every 4 months but every month, I told her that I wanted to cancle and my money returned then, she replied with the service is not cancleable (as I agreed too). I went over the fact that I must have misunderstood what I was agreeing to, and she told me that I was asked by 3 different people if I understood, the only problem with that is I was only asked did you understand what the other person told you, which I thought I did, but I did not and they refused to believe me that I misunderstood this. I was then told because of the misunderstanding that I would not be charged again for a few months untill I recieved some of the magizines. I said ok and thought I would wait and see what happened...as the next few months went by I got a few magizines...thought not the ones I had ordered...I recieved a bill stating that they payment they tried to take did not go through and I had to now pay in advance 2 payments. I called them and told them I was still not reciving the magizines that I ordered and it had been over 4 months. I asked again to cancle, they refused, I again stated that I org. thought it was going to only be 15.00 a month not 60.00 and I could not afford this because we just had a new baby and our money was tight and we still were not getting our magizines. Once again they refused to cancle and offered to reduce the payments down to 30.00 a month and if we go ahead and make the other 60.00 payment that they will not charge us again for another month to see if the magizines would come. I must say I should have refused this but I admit I have a hard time saying no sometimes. I gave them the benifit of a doubt and agreed once again, now this being a total of 120.00 I have paid for about 20.00 worth of magizines most of which are still not what I ordered. After another month of still not getting all of the magizines I was contacted for payment again, I refused to pay and told them to cancle the subscription that I did not want to deal with this anymore and I have been charged for something I am not getting. They refused to cancle and told me that the magizines will continue to come whether I want them or not...after that I have stopped answering the calls they make to me...which for a long time was every day and now have tappered of to 1-2 times a week. I don't have the money to take a lawsuit out on them but would be more than willing to testifiy in a trial againest this company. I have learned the hard way not to trust anyone over the phone before you check them out on the BBB website. I have tried to cancle even on thier website but they email would not go through...and now I can not even get to the sight...I give up.

They have shown to me on an incident I am dealing with that they do not care about the laws in the State of Colorado, where they are based.
Go to:www.ago.state.co.us; and file a complaint with the Colorado Attorney General office. The more complaints filed through them the better. There are some requirements that is covered by Colorado State Law that they are not following regarding cancelations.
