If there was an option for negative stars I would choose that....

Terrible customer service,  no accountability for information put into their listings, poor follow up from realtor (Sue Chien), no follow up from the Broker.  Their mission statement is completely false; "Honesty, integrity, responsiveness", I have not seen these qualities at all.  More like, dishonesty, scamming, and unresponsive.

Sue Chien and Century 21 Carrfie.com were the seller's representative for my home in River Heights and advertised  that it had upgraded electrical.  I confirmed with the seller's agent prior to making an offer that it had indeed been upgraded and she confirmed.  A year later, I began to renovate my kitchen and found knob and tube.  Not just a little bit that could have been missed, but 3/4 of the house was still knob and tube and was tied off to the panel, hidden above the ceiling in the basement.  I had it removed for a price tag of $5000. 

I contacted Sue Chien (realtor) prior to having the work done, and she said she would pay  for it (through broken English, there is a SERIOUS language barrier here) rather than going through the hassle of the errors and omissions system.  Once it came time to pay up, she refused and now I am out $5k, waiting for the claim to work it's way through the system.

When I first brought this issue to Sue Chien, I was told that I should have done more research into the house before buying it.  Shame on me for believing what the realtor puts in their listing, and for believing her when I asked specifically about what I know to be a common problem where I live.  Anything to make a sale I guess.  Tell the customer what they want to hear, and not take any responsibility after the fact.  That's what happened here.

These people, in particular Sue Chien,  give all realtors a bad reputation. 

Do not hire her unless you like being disappointed, mis-led, lied to, trying to interpret her "English", not having your calls returned, losing money, being constantly frustrated.  If all these options sound good to you, by all means, buy/sell your house with her. 

Don't expect Sue Chien to know a thing about building codes, rules and regulations, or about housing in general.
