To Whom It May Concern:

The purpose of this report is to relate what I believe is the malevolent and selfish intent of "Swan Energy, Inc." to defraud unsuspecting citizens out of 50 thousand dollars or more at a time. I have had several conversations with them, and the bulk of these conversations are highly unpleasant. I did not ask to be contacted by these individuals from Swan Energy. How I came to be contacted by Swan Energy is mostly a known quantity:

I received a call perhaps 10-12 days ago from a female official-sounding asking me to confirm what is otherwise public information about how much money my company pays in taxes every year. Now that I think about it it was either taxes or inventory. It was such a short call I am having difficulty recalling which. Anyhow, as the call concluded, she very quickly says "one of our salespersons will be in contact with you shortly" or somesuch and hangs up abruptly. The funny thing is, they had tried this before a year ago or so, and I had forgotten about it. So I knew what was coming.

Sure enough, the other day, as I am driving through Roy, WA. I get a call. Hey! It was from Roy, WA. too!! Wow, what are the chances?!

However, it was Swan Energy. Their sales guy wants to offer me this amazing opportunity to turn 50k dollars into "150k dollars". Yah, right. All I have to do is invest in oil/gas drilling. Not interested. All the questions are designed to make me say yes but I just answered the opposite to get rid of him. This was on Tuesday, 16 February, 2016. 

Well, then today I had the distinct displeasure of getting another call from them. This time he said his name was "Will" from Swan Energy. He asked me some nosy questions about whether I would be interested in investing 50k to earn 200k (a 50k improvement from last time, if my math is right). I told him no. He basically asked why and I told him Occam's Razor applies in this situation. (i.e. rich people aren't beating down their door to invest therefore the most reasonable explanation is that the investment opportunity is foolish and/or extremely high risk). He asked me, "Can you afford to lose 50k dollars?" I thought this was absolutely none of his business, so I declined to provide that information. He then snidely said, "Well, I hope things improve for you." and then hung up. That type of guy. 

So, naturally, I looked into these clowns. A lot of unhappy people out there. At least one lawsuit. 

So, I decided to report on BBB and this entity as well, because they are lovely at warning my fellow citizens what to avoid in this magnificent world of ours.

SO, my advice is thus: do not invest money in OIL/GAS DRILLING as you will likely lose your entire investment. It is a silly thing to invest in. Give commodities a shot. Much safer.
