This lady laura spencer breeds shid tzus in roanoke. she has been in numerous scams with other breeders. she will get chummy with a breeder or two, watch your every move on face book, friend and unfriend you consrantly. get your dogs, and then report you to the akc for fraud. she has done it several times and has LOST her cases.
she also has the most unfriendly hate introduction to her face book page. no visitors until you go get your puppy, know she wants deposits on wait lists because "she is tired of wasting her preciuos time hunting clients down"
she will tell people she keeps a full wait list, but you can always seem to get a puppy from her or two.
she has gotten a whole slew of puppies in the last 6 mos. and sold off the ones she bred to death.didnt give them away to good homes, sold them for profit. even sent some away when she was sick. Then lied on another breeder and said she stole them. almost ruined the breeder completely. she has a click of friends that will help her, and back her up, This list is fgetting smaller as people see how she treats others. PURE DRAMA.
we have seen her on face book for too long, and recently bashing another poor breeder who is newer. (no names) she is mean and nasty. will smile in yout face, and stick you in the back when you arent watching or listening. ASK around!! she thinks she is the best, but in reality has many pople who no longer think of her as A1+. Be very careful. if the breeder doesnt want you to visit, posts ugly stuff on fellow breeders, and makes wild false claims. be aware.
some young puppies try to pass awy from being ill, and she will spend hours trying to keep them alive, just to get her money from the client. the client then has a forever sick dog.`skin allegies, special foods and so on.
Please know who you are dealing with. Your puppy is your new child. Find a friednly, happy breeder, or a breeder who makes you feel they care about your happiness too. if a brreeder says they have to keep reviving your puppy, RUN. get your $$ back. IF YOU CAN!!

I also have watched this lady Larua Spencer, and even called once to inquire on a shih tzu puppy. The first thing wh said to me was "If you wan't a $300 pup, I dont have them" unfortunately for her, MONEY was no object. We didn't mind paying any amount to get the perfect puppy for our family. My husband thought that was an odd way to do business, so he looked her up on facebook and in a Google search. He found several disturbing facts about this breeder. I will share these in the interst of other families who may be looking for that perfect pet.
1. This lady has a ripoff report. Her it is.
2. This lady just had a Go Fund Me campaign for medical bills for herself, but is bragging on her New Dog room on FB. Also the upcoming litters she has planned.
3. This lady apparently has enough money to now also breed Poodles, and get this, CATS! That takes time and Money.....where does she get it.
4. we asked around in phone calls to other shih tzu breeders to see what the reaction would be IF we mentioned her program as one we were looking at, and if "they" were affilated in any way with this woman. Plus, we wanted a puppy.
* ONE breeder didn't seem to know her, but said she thought she was on facebook. The name sounded familiar, but no was not affiliated with Laura Spencer or her programs if any. She even said "I think she sells cats, not dogs." (so we checked)
*ONE breeder was very hesitant, but adamant that They had ZERO affiliation with Ms. Spencer. We tried to pull more out of this breeder, but I think they got nervous, and would not say more. She did "Thank Us" for the call, and offer up the Face book page she had, and asked if she could help us in any way with a "New family" (her words) member they would be thrilled to have us for a visit. This breeder had only shih tzus ....no other dogs or pets for sale.
* Our last call for to a breeder who sold shih tzus and a mixed shih Tzu poodle dogs. This is not even a real recognized breed. This brreder seemed pleasent, and did say she was a "partner" of sort with this Laura Spenecer, but only in the poodle sense. She praised her, but we felt she may have known there was trouble in the situation. Maybe we were too obvious in our quesrions....We did not want to buy a mixed dog.
Any way. This is my input. I don't know if it helps, but I felt uncomfortable, unwelcomed, and turned off by this so called breeder. We think we have got a breeder (Local) we are going with. visiting them this month as they have pups for sale. A Mom and Daughter team. I won't say there name as we have not gone there yet, but they sound delightful, and welcoming.

As we tried to say, but did not have an understanding of rebuttal.....
So we are trying again to do it correctly. We do not want any misunderastandings.
This report was sent to us in a message. After reading it, we thought we would rebuttal to say" Our dog is healthy."
It comes up as original poster.......We are NOT the poster, NOR do we work for this lady. Nor do we OWN this company of Ms Spencer's.
WE have ONE puppy from this breeder. He is fine. Now a grown adult .
We are NOT friends with, or are even fond of this lady, but Our dog is in GREAT health.
How she treats other's, friends, and clients, and pets does not concern us. (We avoid Gossip)
She has NOT been nice to us. We do NOT know how she treats others, we can only guess she is NOT nice to others also.
We are NOT affiliated with her breeding program in any way at all.
We only live in the same state.
SO, when calling for puppies from us....Know we do not share a breeding program with "Sweet Temptation's shih tzus'
Nor do we associate with this breeder~ Laura Spencer. Not Personally or in business!

We got one of our puppies from this breeder. He is fine and healthy. He was purchased as a Pet and breeder male. No issues with him.
