There is a genera # too- there HQ is San Diego CA877-231-8505  II tried the first 4 lessons and then said NO MORE  and they KEEP CHARGING MY CREDIT CARD!   I call and email;  I'm told by a "Maria.H"  "go to your account online and delete your membership..."  But then they cancelled my account and I NO LONGER HAVE AN ONLINE ACOUNT!   So I call again and again, but they just keep giving me run around.  Finally I just had to cancel my credit card!   I could not back charge with the credit card co because I did authorize ONE charge-- Oh yeah rip off too-- $50 for a 30 minute class?!!!   I had a GREAT teacher for my daughter, but then I found out  they only pay the instructor $12.50 to come to my home and teach?!!!  They charge the teacher more than 70% for what?   To rip me off?!  Administsrative fees?!   This teacher was so reliable and such a mediator to try to calm me from the RIP OFF from the takelessons.com staff-- she gave us FREE classes.. Then she emailed me the reply from her superior from Takeessons--- "We don't give refunds no matter what may be seen as our mistake... if you want to keep teaching this student then YOU refund their money... we will assign a new teacher for them..."

So that was what I got from Maria H too-- instsead of SOLVING a problem and doing what I requested-- REFUND me and END lessons with their scam business I got "we don't do refunds"  So I wanted NO MORE to do with them but they said they will send me another instructor.   I had to repeat-- the staff at takelessons.com  have NO READING comprehension-- I would write very specific emails and I get a general reply-- Sorry we do NO REFUNDS, please goe to your account to end billing..."   And they billed me $800 for 6 months!!!!

STAY FAR AWAY-- go to your local music private school-- We found Gray Music School here and guess what--they give refunds!   And it is only $25 per class and teacher gets $15 per  class--so everyone is happy over here.
