These crooks are trying to con me out of my money! I strongly recommend that no one join this service. No one should have to pay over $4000 to find romance!!!

I attended a personal meeting where these people constantly pressured me to the point where I felt forced to pay on the spot. What assured me was that the service promised that I had up to 3 days to change my mind and receive a refund.

What they neglected to inform me of was of a $1500 processing fee, which they assured me was part of, and apparently included in the total payment. Nonetheless I decided to withdraw from the program the same day from which I signed up and made the payment, believing that Tampa Singles would remain true to their word of refunding me my money.

From the $4000 I paid, the service now refuses to refund me the $1500 from the initial process fee, which they conveniently failed to specify about at the time I made the payment. I am now trying to file a complaint with my credit card company.

Please don't make the same mistake I did, think things out with caution, and don't fall for the trap of these con men taking advantage of people simply looking for love.

Pressured to buy?

AUTHOR: Vimot - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Saturday, September 24, 2011

I just don't understand the concept. Sure, there are "high-pressured" sales techniques out there for almost everything, but since when have we, as Americans, turned into a bunch of hapless, pressurized, easily swindled VICTIMS? This sounds like you are more angry with yourself than with the "big, bad bullies" that "made" you buy into a fantasy. Take this as a $1500 education in how to say no and move on with your life. You'll feel much better.
One more thing, and forgive my stupidity on the subject, but why would one have to pay to find romance?
