Tax Relief Associates Poor representation, sloppy work, delayed my offer in compromise process. Ripoff Brea California

I retained Tax Relief Associates in September 2003 to assist me in negotiating an offer with the IRS on back taxes due for 2001 and 2002. They promised me that I could have an offer in compromise negotiated within 3-6 months. After submitting a completed questionnaire to the company, for over a year, I made repeated calls to speak to to my attorney, Richard L. Hargus. After many calls and excuses, I finally received completed offer in compromise paperwork until October, 2004. However, upon review, the paperwork had many errors and it took incessent calls on my part to obtain corrections. I did not receive corrections until December, 2004. In December, more changes were needed and it was not until mid February 2005 that I received an offer that I could send to the IRS. I was told in mid-February that all we could do was wait for a response. I received response on June 1 from the IRS that additional documents were needed to come to agreement on my offer. I called the office numbers that I have dialed in the past. The 800# is disconnected, the local lines ring and no one answers them. I have aproximately 5 business days to deliver communication to the IRS and no means of getting in touch with my supposed legal representation. To make matters worse, the IRS sent me an additoinal note indicating that Richard revoked his power of attorney. I have no explanation as to why this was done and no representation. These people are crooks and should be stopped. I can't believe they would toy with people's livelyhoods like this! If there is a class action suit somewhere, contact me. I have ALL my paperwork.
