I just finished 2 days of the 3 day TMTT seminar. From the TV infomercial, I attended the 2 hr teaser & opted for the $400 pkg: the guy said the $200 would be credited to any advanced courses. I waited 4 wks for the 3 day seminar.

Like others, I listened to how wealthy my instructor was & his personal degrees & CEO of This & That Company. He is also a motivational speaker. He has you take a piece of paper with name, email addy, how much $ you have to invest, goals you want from successful investing, how much prior investing experience, your occupation.

Remember this & continue reading. Minimal instruction on charting & emphasis on the freedom of wealth. After lunch came the sales pitch. The gig is: buy everything now, because after the class the price goes way up. The Trade Seeker software is now $1995, $2695 after the class. Top end class is "wealthmaster" at $39,490, $65,858 after class. Day 1, the blonde 20 yr comes up front to describe how she was a surfboard store manager in HI before coming to TMTT & proceeds to spend 45 min telling us how to ck our credit reports, websites to go to get 0% cr cards & don't forget to call your bank for a line of equity on your home.

It was breaktime & others were milling around. I was hot. Blonde comes over & isolates me. I said I was here to learn & so far I've been doodling on my tablet. She spends 15 min telling me I need more courses & "how much do you have to invest". When I told her, she diverts the conversation to achieving my goals. I merely replied --where is my $200 credit for any of your courses & when does instruction start--tomorrow? She slips away with a passing student, raising her hand as if to say "I'll be right back".

Day 2 morning was charting, sprinkled with "when you take this class, you'll get more indepth instruction". By now, the instructor had zoomed in on the money people (from the name, email addy, life goals & how much do you have to invest questionaire from the day before). The poor people had no eye contact, comments &/or questions ignored. He was calling the rich ones by 1st name. In the afternoon the sales pitch intensified with the instructor STRONGLY recommending you go back & talk with his highly trained & active trading "team". Their laptops were set up with some pkg that offered the 24/7 online teaching/referral course that you could use as support when cust service or your mentor wasn't available.

I didn't waste my time or gas on day 3. They had a stocky, muscle bound NY truck driver in the bk at all times. My initial take on him was "bouncer". He openly stated he had minimal trading knowledge. An irate student, older guy, was leaving on day 1 & glanced over at the NY guy. He asked/stated "guess I paid $200 for a sales pitch" when bouncer replied "pretty much".

I never heard about the credentials of the mentor. Instructor referred to them as floor guys on the exchange floor, other active traders, etc.

In retrospect, they could of been the janitor. The initial software was merely a repeat of their books & any addt'l CD material looked as though a 4th grader wrote it. The 2nd set of software is good for 30 days: you have to go online to use it & after the 30 days, this service is $40/mo. It is basically a copy of any other stock software out there. If you purchase the $2000 TradeSeeker, it is $20/mo to maintain that, which only works with the $40/mo pkg. They offer live help --they call webinars--on specific days & times. The only problem is you use your phone to dial an 800#, give them a password so they link you into the website & sit patiently on your airtime to watch somebody explain their software.

People start asking questions like "did I make a live trade" (no!) and "I bought TradeSeeker & it's not working--how come?" when instructor says "you must of gotten an old version". I used their IM & waited patiently 45 min for an answer to 1 question. Reacting to question #1, I asked another & there never was a reply. How hoaky.

$400 down the drain, fortunately my husband wasn't upset (he actually encouraged me from the beginning) & if you remember your mom telling you "there's no free lunch", she must of been to one of TMTT's seminars.
