COMPLAINT, TIME LINE, AND EXPECTED OUTCOME
Complaint:
1. Failure to provide accurate information as to the actual costs of the phone cards for me, the distributor as well as for the final purchaser.

2. Failure to provide sufficient inventory for 6 phone card sites.

3. Failure to provide the proper type of phone cards for the area.

4. Failure to provide 6 phone card sites that wanted to sell the cards.

5. Failure and refusal to switch out phone cards to ones that might sell.

6. Failure to return (and/or) replace $800 worth of phone cards sent in to get switched out for more usable ones. Authorized by Andria, but never returned. (if I only had some concrete sales sites to sell them in.)

7. Failure to honor request to use e-mail instead of phone calls because of my speech and ear/hand coordination. (severe head injury several years ago)

8. Failure to provide intensive service for my account. (60% of the cost was for service)

9. Very misleading advertising as on some of the cable networks. USA, Sci Fi, etc.

10. Very misleading video tape sent prior to purchase.

11. Failure of phone cards to provide indicated usage time.

12. Failure of Tele King to secure proper authorization to do business in other states. (California and others)(TK cards are being sold in California)

13. Failure to provide the promised turn key operation as portrayed in all the advertising and by the marketing reps I talked with.

14. Failure to provide an income producing package that was promised in all of Tele King advertising.

15. Failure to show any sales tax paid on purchase order/contract as required by the state.

16. As the purchase order was instructed by over the phone, I was not told that the purchase order was also a contract. I did not sign the contract side of the purchase order.

17. Failure to send all the necessary materials, site locations, competitive phone cards and customer service as stated and promised.

18. Taking advantage of my handicap and age.

19. TK making my life a mental disaster more than it usually is.

Time Line:

Feb. 1st Became interested in pre-paid phone cards and checked around as to the sale ability and profit from phone cards. A few days later I saw my first ad about Tele King on one of the cable channels. (I think it was USA)

March Another several days of checking into phone cards, and seeing more Tele King ads on TV, I really became interested in the concept of my own turn key business.

Month of April:
Called TK for their information to be sent.
Called again for more information and telephone conference with territory director (Richard Goodman). He gave me names and numbers to call and ask about the program.

Called these people the next several days and got great recommendations for the program.

Marketing Rep: David Gurtman 866-444-4112 #237
Territory Director: Richard Goodman 866-444-4112 #208
References given:
David Brand 804-901-6560

April 28th, I received a secured bank loan written on my late mothers trust account for the amount of $11,950 for the program.

April 30th, I called Richard Goodman and he told me how to fill out the Purchase Order. I signed the purchase order side (but not the other side which I was not told about). I then mailed the purchase order and my personal check to Tele King.

Month of May:
May 23, I received the phone cards and the 6 display units.
Waiting now for the locations that want to sell the phone cards.

Called and said I received the sales material. Call transferred to the site locator, Thea Mara 866-444-4112 #216. She gave me several places to go. My friend wrote down the places for me as I have a hard time listening, interpreting and transcribing. I went to all the places very excited. Non of them wanted to handle the cards. I called the next day to find out what went wrong. No answer was givin. She gave me more places to go to.

Again I went to these sites. Again they did not want the cards. By this time at the end of May, I had realized I had gotten scammed. I did not hear anything from TK for several days now.

Month of June:
June 6th I sent a receipt mail to TK asking to please return my money and release me from the program. June 10th I received a reply that was not signed saying in so many words too bad. In the mean time, on June 12, I returned the 6 displays and phone cards. They signed for and accepted the cards and one box of 2, of the display units, then sent them all back to me. I did not know what to do because my loan and home expenses were now coming due.

I went to the internet to see if anyone could help me. Among several responses telling me that I was ripped off, a man in California responded and was willing to help. I sent him some cards to try to sell for me. He ran into the same problems there in California. People did not want to handle the cards. He told me that thay were too expensive and had many hidden charges. His dad is a lawyer and found out that TK is not registered to do business in California. My friend was able to sell a few of the cards, so TK is being sold in that state. TK is also advertising on the TV there. My friend said maybe if he had the $5 cards, that they may be able to sell.

Month of July:
I called TK and asked if I could switch out the higher cost cards to the $5 ones. They said they do not switch out cards. I had no further contact with TK this month.

Month of August:
A new site locator was given to me. Brian.(866-444-4112 #285). He said he uses e-mail. He gave me 2 locations over the phone. My friend wrote them down. I asked the locator if the sites wanted to handle the cards. He said yes. This time I called the locations first. The first site said the owner was out of town for 10 days and no one remembered any call from TK. The 2nd site said to come over. I went over and the owner said he did not trust TK and did not want to handle the phone cards. He then showed me all the phone cards he did handle. All were a lot cheaper with no connection or other hidden charges. In order to get the $5 cards for my friend in California, I called Andria at TK and told her that the sites that were just givin to me wanted only the $5 cards. I did not tell her that none of the sites wanted to handle TK cards.

She said to send her $800 worth of the high cost cards and she would switch them out for me to the $5 cards. I sent them to her and did not get anything back, nor have I heard anything from TK the rest of the month. They ripped me off again.

EXPECTED OUTCOME:
I want my money back.

As I go into the Month of September, I fear the worst financially as well as for my health. My home is now up for sale and my car is long gone. At 55, I am finished as a proud person.

Tele King paid off the referals

AUTHOR: - ()

POSTED: Tuesday, December 03, 2002

As we all thought, the referals given to us by Tele King, were paid to give a "wonderful" picture of the phone card program. Here are the referals and the addresses/phone numbers. Beware of these people. They are part of the conspiracy to comit fraud and will be held in complicity with Tele King. Tele King also tried to bribe me to take these posts off the net. They sent me $3000 with the promise of sending another check. The second check never showed up and now their butts are mine.
