Ten Bux is a website where they broker deal between people who provide services for just about anything - writing, video production, SEO and more. 

I used the website to locate a service and paid via Pay Pal and was told by the seller(via TenBux.com ) that I should start to see the result for the services I purchased in a few days. In the meantime while waiting I tried to login to a  website set up by the seller to monitor the banner impressions I purchased.  Well to my surprise the login that worked the initial day that I purchased no longer worked.  I was locked out.

My first thought was to contact Tenbux.com and see what happened.  I did just that and learned the seller of the item was banned from Tenbux.com for some reason.  It really did not matter to me so I requested that Tenbux.com send my money back to me. 

I went through there system and sent them a note to request my money back and they told me to contact the seller.  Well that is not the way it works - buyers cannot contact sellers directly because if that were allowed then Tenbux.com would be left out of the equation and would make no money.  In all reality that was a dumb answer and I think meant to discourage me from getting my funds back.  It's quite a shame to see businesses behave like that.

Went through a series of  emails and requests to send the money back and got nowhere with them.
Actually the person I was dealing with was quite flippant in his responses and I knew that it needed to be escalated to Pay Pal which is what I did.  Pay Pal immediately refunded my money back once they heard of the website and said they were going to suspend them because this is behavior that is common with Tenbux.com.  If it weren't for Pay Pal then I would have never gotten my money back. 

Long story short websites like Tenbux.com and there practices have no place in business.  What they do when something does not work out between a seller and buyer is dishonest and has place in the business world.   Beware of Tenbux.com they are a bunch of cheap shysters who do not operate on principle but purely on greed! 

Also to be noted I was told I would not be refunded and was banned from Tenbux.com because I opened a dispute with Pay Pal.

It would be nice to hear what happened and get a refund since the service was not delivered.

I do not want a credit with Ten Bux as I believe you have been quite unfair about dealing with this situation.

So I will be waiting for the funds and once I receive them I will close the disputes.

All of the funds ($30) need to go to pay pal and that is the only way this can be resolved at this point.

You can facilitate that and should do it right away. Once that is done I will close the disputes.

We will not be sending you money to your PayPal, Due to the fact that there are pending disputes.
You have now been banned on the system due to the pending disputes in PayPal.
If you had contacted us we would of refunded you to your PayPal account, instead the disputes were opened without us knowing that you had any issues.
Firstly it's not a good idea to open PayPal disputes, as PayPal no longer accept disputes on Digital items or services.

I did contact you requesting the funds back and was told to contact the seller. As you can probably guess that was not possible.

It is only fair to refund the money directly to me as I never received the services paid for and the fact that you are telling me you will no honor my request really reflect poorly on you and your policy. It also seems a little vindictive to behave this way - banning me because I took action via pay pal.

You could be fair about this but are choosing not to be fair - why?

Furthermore you could resolve this right at this moment and have chosen not to to do so. Again why?

A reply to the helpdesk would of been great. Once you let them know that you tried contacting them and they would of checked this in the system. They would of refunded you straight away.
We have no control over the funds that are being held due to the PayPal dispute, it's in review and they can take up to 30 days to close the dispute that is not in our control there are no options for us to select as this is a digital item.

The main reason behind your account being limited is because if you were to place more orders we do not know if more disputes will be opened, this is a safety measure that we have in place as PayPal has told us to insure that this happens.
The 2nd reason again is PayPal has told us to have this in place as there have been alot of scams going around where the scammers are using fake credit cards and trying to request for refunds. Theses measures are in place to protect both TenBux and PayPal.

I hope you understand the situation

If you refund the money and you can do that right now then I can close the dispute. It's that simple.

I do not think I am asking for anything that is unreasonable and furthermore when your staff person told me to contact the seller - well that was a little callous and not exactly dealing with the situation properly.

I contacted your company and was met with what I deemed as a non responsive answer pertaining to the request.

Please just resolve this now and refund the money. This chain of emails is ridiculous.

Because I filed a dispute with pay pal after they did not volutarily refund the money.
