I took this position against my better judgment because, I needed some type of income. On the surface,  They make this "opportunity" sound very appealing, lucrative and stable.

He presents it as follows:

" We are recruited by Fortune 500 companies to market for them. We take all of the expense out of marketing their products, thus putting us in great demand. Our clients wants thousands of our offices opened around the world."

Believe me when I tell you, it reads much cornier. They are very persuasive people. I almost believed him.

I gave this "opportunity" a shot, worked my butt off, spent a ton of money in gas expense and suffered through hundreds of doors slammed in my face, and some being called some not so pleasant names.

For 2 hours every morning the group of us were subjected to "workshops" covering the 4s, 5s, and 8s. These represent the four impulse factors, the five steps to a conversation and the eight great work habits. Admittedly, these are legitimate ideas, however the way they are practiced and the real motivation is much less than legitimate.

The group I worked for represented Century Link Communications in the business to Consumer sales arena. As I waded through all of this I was able to help some people save some money monthly and get better services. Though I was not making much money, only about 300 per week.

One day I came across a customer who invited me into his house (since it was so hot outside). He was very cordial to me, however, what he had to say was not good. One of the "Account Managers" had outright lied to him in order to close a sale. He told the customer that he would get 40mg line, when he only qualified for 12. No wonder some people were making 500 a day!

Believe this much if you consider going to work at either Fortune 5, Inc. or GDR and Associates. Both of these offices are part of a larger pyramid conglomerate called Cydcor. The idea is to find people who will do absolutely anything to make a few sales, who don't mind cheating people out of their hard earned money and who have no conscience about lying to their employees to line their own pockets.

They will sell you on the idea that you can go in the field and "sacrifice now to play later", that you can "build a team", and that you too can own an office within Cydcor. What They won't tell you is that only the people who have no conscience and will use whoever they encounter to get to their own ends have any shot at all. They will tell you that it's all about honesty and integrity, but pay attention to what really happens when there is dishonesty in the workplace. The only ones punished are the ones he doesn't like. He likes the 4-500 dollar a day rep that is cheating and lying. Why? Because she lines their pockets.

Owners gets paid "owners stroke" on whatever his reps do. Something in the neighborhood of 2 times what the rep makes. So this rep is making him 800-1000 dollars per day! No matter what the means, all he cares about is the money the people he "interviews" and hires might make him.

He'll call it a people helping people business. He only helps the people that subscribe to his BS. If you ask questions, you'll be labeled a whiner. If you have legitimate concerns, they will be "spun" to make you feel like an idiot.

Just because I think it would be nice to share, here are the 4s and 5s as these are the valuable things to take away from Cydcor, Fortune 5, Inc and GDR and Associates:

4 Impulse factors: Jones Effect: Want what neighbors have. Indifference: Acting the opposite of a salesman. Fear of Loss: Here today, gone tomorrow. Sense of Urgency:

5 Steps to a Conversation: 1. Introduction: Use icebreakers, build a personal relationship. This represents 90% of the close. 2. Short Story: Tell the person who you are and why you are there. Keep it simple and build impulse. 3. Presentation: Build buying impulse, keep it simple and show the big picture advantage. 4. Close: Stop asking questions, assume the sale. 5. Rehash: Ask for referrals etc.

This is a scam and my long winded posting here is meant to provide some more in depth understanding and evidence to show the scam to all of you.
