it is unbelievable to me how eager people are to bash legitimate businesses on this website. No ripoff took place, this customer did not want to wait for upgrades.  I am sorry it did not work out for her but we issued her a full refund so no harm done...   why post on this site?? 

I purchased 5 CMA tickets from Ed at TheBestDamnTicketsPeriod on 9/19/12 with the understanding that I should receive my tickets in early October.   I began following up with Ed in early October by sending emails and leaving phone messages.  I received no response to these 7 followups, which concerned me since tickets were selling fast and the event was less than a month away.  After requesting a refund, I finally received a very rude response -  "I was looking for upgrades for you, but since my efforts are not appreciated, i will cancel your order".  It was the fact that Ed had not responded to emails, phone calls, and voice mails, that alarmed me.  In the meantime, my friends had purchased airline tickets, booked hotels, etc., relying on me to secure tickets to the CMAs.   I DID receive a full refund, but I will not deal with this company again. 

Unfortunately this site will let anybody slander our company even though they are not a customer of ours.  We do not know who this person is or what they are accusing us of beyond not having the best price on a selected event. 

Sometimes we do have the best price and sometimes we do not.  We encourage our customers to shop around and use us if we can secure tickets for them for sports, concerts or theater events nationwide.

We have no idea who this person is.  He is not a customer of ours and has never contacted our office.  Apparently RipOffReport will let anybody publish negative complaints about a business without any proof of a "ripoff" at all.  RipOffreport has lost all credibility with the business world so consumers should keep this in mind when reading complaints on this site. At least the BBB will remove complaints like this with no merit, but Ripoffreport will not.

About our ticket business: We are a independent ticket broker, meaning our prices are based on supply and demand and not on the face value of tickets.  Sometimes we sell for above face value when demand is high and below face value when demand for a event is low (amazing how nobody ever complains when we charge below face value).

Anyway, please give us a try the next time you need tickets for sports, concerts or theater events.  Sometimes we have the lowest price and sometimes we do not.  We do not charge service fees and will always give you great service.
