What is worse than contractor from hell?
The answer is: Builder from Hell !!!
We have bought a brand new home in very exclusive area Valley Circle Estates at Woodland Hills, back in June of 1997. Home was built by "The Braemar Group / Braemar Homes" based in Agoura Hills but they are building all around Southern California . During El Nino rains of 97/98 winter season the house leaked all around through walls and windows.
!!! The house still leaks !!!
Until today Braemar did not and does not do anything about fixing the problems even though all of the problems should have been fixed under warranty. I also have documentation showing that some of the problems they have been told about and made aware of during the construction and still did not do anything about, which constitutes fraud and negligence. They were told during framing stage that there are obvious problems that need to be attended to otherwise the house is gonna leak, the builder totally ignored the warnings and sure enough the house leaks today. It will be my pleasure to share with you all the documentation and I can put you in touch with many people that had mind boggling experiences with Braemar Homes.
People need to know: If you buy a home from Braemar or that was built by Braemar sooner or later you will get screwed big time. Right now they are building 26 homes in Tarzana right over Braemar Country Club be warned.
