The Orleans at Walnut Grove Terrible customer service from the leasing consultant Jessica Memphis Tennessee

I came here to rent an apartment and talked to a younger woman named Ashley, who was very kind and actually seemed like she cared about me. She gave me all of the information I needed and showed me the apartments. I liked them and had her show me the other floorplans. She made sure that was all I needed, asked if I wanted a cup of coffee or water and then I left. A few days later, I came up there with my application and turned it in to another woman named Jessica. She was very unprofessional and seemed like she knew nothing about her job. She lost my application and made me come back in not once, but twice.

I have perfect credit and called and was told I was accepted. Jessica told me everything was ready and that she had the room cleaned and that I could move in. I looked at the apartment and it was ABSOLUTELY terrible. The carpet was tore up in several places, the walls had drawing on them, the dishwasher had rotten food inside of it, the toilets were disgusting and so was under the bathroom sink. I was supposed to receive a gift card from her and she told me that the special was over. I asked the other girl that stayed on the right side of the office if you're walking in if I was supposed to get a gift card and she said that I was and that she would talk to her manager about it. I figured Jessica stole it for herself or something.

It took them a long time to clean my apartment after I already signed my lease and I refused to move in until it was cleaned and until I got my card so I could buy a few needed things for my new place. I asked Jessica if I could speak to her supervisor and she went and got her. I told the manager about the gift card thing and she asked me who my leasing consultant was. She said she would talk to Jessica but never did and seemed like she was more of a friend to her than a boss. I finally just gave up on that and moved in a few days later. I got mail sent to the office and it wasnt even time for the office to close. Jessica refused to let me get my mail at 5:30 and said she was locking up and that the alarm was already set. She was very rude and told me I needed to leave and come back tomorrow to get it.

Jessica and the manager should be fired. They are very unprofessional and do not care about their residents the slightest bit. I finally started asking the other girl, Ashley for everything and haven't had any problems since then other than when the Ashley girl is off work. When she isnt there the office is always closed early and they won't give me the higher bosses name or number to call and I assume that he or she doesnt work on site. NEVER RENT FROM THESE PEOPLE, and if you do, Find the woman named Ashley on the right side of the office. She will treat you like a human being and not like a snob. I've became good friends with my neighbor and she's told me bad things about the site manager and the Jessica woman as well.
