The TransClinic sold me a new transmission that was installed and then repeatedly FAILED . Which had to be taken in MULTIPLE times for extended periods only to receive it back to fail yet again. It completely failed after the warranty expired and I am now without a vehicle and the Manager, GREG admitted to bad torque converter parts each and every time yet will not fix this issue. Now the warranty is up, he told me $2000 to FIX THIS Ventura California

3/14/2016 My transmission was slipping bad and I had my car taken to The TransClinic in Ventura CA. They pulled my transmission and inspected it, called with the "estimate". $2822.08 for a new transmission. I acknowledged and approved it. The shop has no loaner car and I had to rent a vehicle. They had my car for 6 days. I picked up my car on the 6th day, a saturday. Monday morning at 4 am the 21st, the transmission FAILED on the way to work! Back to The TransClinic and GREG the manager, with excuses and accusing me of driving the car "rough". Got the call, A BAD TORQUE CONVERTER. Again, had to rent another car, with NO REIMBURSEMENT for the costs even though this is warranty work. They took 5 days to fix it again. Picked up my car on the 25th. Greg had the nerve to admit his supplier and the converters sucked. I left angry and not wanting to deal with these guys again. Sadly, On 5/6/2016 on the way to work in the early am again, YET ANOTHER TRANSMISSION FAILURE. ANOTHER TORQUE CONVERTER FAILURE and another rental car for two days. Picked up my car and left. Fast forward to 12/14/2017, warranty is now expired and get another TORQUE CONVERTER failure along with major other Transmission issues and GREG tells me it will cost me $2000.00 to fix. I said, see you in court Greg. BBB and BAR reports have been filed and also small claims lawsuit to follow. Going for a full REFUND and ALL EXPENSES now.
