Jodie Goodknight and her husband, while seemingly honest, agreed to place my brand new 2006 Dodge RAM 3/4T 4X4 Diesel (Fully loaded with less than 20K miles) and 2003 Dodge RAM 1/2T 2WD with hard top to assigned users. It wasn't long and then the payments began to lapse and became non-existant. Of course, Chrysler Financial wanted the to repo the vehicals but they were no where to be found. Jodie then became uncooperative and difficult to contact. What these people are doing constitutes theft, however, when I tried to report them as stolen the police said I willingly handed them over to this company and closed the case. Therefore, it seems that there is little legal recourse and they are continually preying on those that are financially stressed and trustworthy. DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY or others that offer this type of service. Technically this is not legal because of insurance, registration, and licencing is not possible unless you are the rightful owner of the vehical. Just ask your present vehical financier to confirm.

I know that doesn't sound right but that's what the Police did to me... They refused to file both vehicals as stolen and closed the report... I assumed I had no further recourse since the Police would not get involved... Afterall, are they not the authority I'm supposed to turn to?...

"when I tried to report them as stolen the police said I willingly handed them over to this company and closed the case."
See if you can find someone at the police station that can give you a logical answer. If their logic were correct, then you could rent a car from Hertz and keep it as long as you wanted. They do hand their cars over willingly, don't they?
I happen to know that car and truck rental agencies report their vehicles as stolen all the time. I used to work for one.
