Thee Car Lot #1 on Murchison road is the absolute worst place to by a vehicle from! They advertise these "sales" and they are absolutely not worth the amount they sell the car for. These people sold me a 2004 car that was worth kelly blue book value $4000 for $11000. They told me that I didnt have to make a down payment and it was that price because I didnt have a down payment, a co signer, and because of my credit. And That it was the final sale going on.

The only thing I had to do was make a car note. The owner was very very pushy, OVERLY pushy, and he also stated that they were an ON THE LOT DEALER. He also stated that I could break my payments up and pay little by little at their lot if I could not afford to make a whole payment at once. He went on into stories about how the strippers come in and they pay little by little and most business people come in and pay them directly.

so boom...my first payment I went by the lot to pay and they redirected me and told me that I had to pay through AC AUTOPAY. But they told me its on the lot financing so I paid that no attention. Im thinking that they were getting my payments. Now, Im a young female and I did not know much about buying cars, but the truth of the matter is that the car note was around almost $400. THAT IS A NEW CAR PAYMENT, I refused to pay for it.

I test drove the car for about 30 minutes, and it appeared to be fine, i test drove another car and it had problems accelerating, and in the final hour of being in the dealership, they were rushing me to get into a car so they could go home.

After one week of having the car, I was riding to Raleigh and I let my window down on the highway. The window went ALL THE WAY to the bottom of the door and was sitting on regulator, which was previously broken. I looked in the glove compartment, and there was another mans information and it appeared he had brought the car back some weeks before. I took the car back to them, and mind you they say that if its within 30 days, they would fix it.

So they put a GPS on my car and hit me with the "Oh you have to pay half price because you bought it from my lot, and it would be $89." I took the car to Auto Zone to have a diagnostic reading beause the Service Engine light came on on the second week. The reading on the receipt said that it was a gas leak. I took the car back to the lot again, and they told me to just replace the gas cap. And also the engine made a rattling noise, as if the car had oil problems before and was doomed for throwing a rod somewhere doing the road.

Being a single mother having to commute my child back and forth to school everyday played a huge factor as to why i kept the car for so long, now Im stuck paying for a loan that should not have happened if it was on the lot buying. I felt helpless as to turning the car back in because they made me feel like there was absolutely nothing they could do. Not to mention that one of the employees is a crook! Trying to sell someone elses lost brand new cell phone to me instead of fixing my issues in the first place!
