Thomas Radiator ripoff Conroe Texas

Took my truck to Thomas Radiator because I was having intermittent a/c problems. A/c had been cutting on and off all day prior to taking it in for repairs. After technician looked at it I was told I needed a new compressor. Paid over $800 to get the repairs done. Left and continued to have the same problems.

Went back and explained that it was still doing the same thing it was. The person in charge was extremely rude and defensive and proceded to tell me that this was a separate problem and that there was no way my a/c was cutting on and off because he checked it and it was getting no power.

I am no mechanic but do know that that may be the reason it was intermittent; sometimes it had power and sometimes not. Even though they insist that the compressor needed to be changed anyways I am having a great deal of trouble believing that. They also claimed that there was no way the a/c problems were intermittent the first time either because the compressor was locked up. Funny that now that is impossible but that was exactly what I told them was going on when I originally took it in and they said it was a bad compressor. Bottom of the line is that I spent over $800 and still have an a/c that cuts on and off.

I am still in the same situation I was when I first pulled into their drive except that the $800 is in their pocket instead of mine!!! I went there because they were not too busy...Now I know why!!!
