Buyers beware,
I purchased a portable dvd player & the Assurz plan from this company on 4/11/08, it was not working properly so I called Tigerdirect, I was instructed to call Assurz to have the item returned to them and have a refund issued.

I contacted Assurz the item was returned and received by them. On 5/9/08 I received an e-mail from Assurz letting me know that I would be receiving a refund check in 7-10 business days. It is now 7/2/08 no refund yet and worst of all It looks as if Assurz is out of business. Tigerdirect promised that they would be issuing me a check but nothing. I keep calling and I keep getting the run around with the it will be 7-10 business days. Please do not buy anything from this company unless you have money to throw away. Tigerdirect and CompUsa are owned by the same company so please be careful !

Though Assurz is a completely separate company and we had no idea that it would go out of business, we are dedicated to customer service, so we are taking care of anyone that purchased assurz with one of our products.
