To Whom It May Concern:

We are writing to tell you about a problem we had recently with the overall experience at your Tires Plus - Wichita East. We are quite upset after having our 1993 Isuzu Rodeo worked on there.

When we first took our car there we said, It is leaking air conditioning fluid on the floor under the dash as well as the air conditioning system is not cold. We said to call us with a quote and we would see if we wanted to fix it. The Manager Joe called my husband at work and said they could fix it for close to $500, and we to proceed with the work, then after they started it he called again and said, now there is something else wrong with it and we need another part we have to order and it will be $850, then it we said ok because with two kids we need it however we are totally unhappy because of the time this is taking.

And if we were to have taken it to another guy we knew we would have not been playing this game with him so we expect something in return such as new belts on the vehicle, then they stated they would take care of us. Then a week later it was we need another part we have to order and it will be $994 and no more. Then a week later when we finally went to get it for the last time, and then it was well now we need another part and we won't charge you for it. So we said ok, then when we went to pick it up, it was we need another part and we have to order it too and without saying anything else about cost!

When they finally said it they had the last part almost a week later, my husband took it there to get the last part installed and afterwards they gave him a bill for $1249.25. On top of this after looking at the bill, the bill said we took them the car on 9/29/04 when in fact it was 6/29/04 and to top it all off no belts were replaced either.

After 18 days of this B.S. we finally got the car back in working order, however after over two years of getting all our car repairs done at this Tires Plus - Wichita East location we are completely unsatisfied at the total disregard for our time and money that these Tires Plus employees had for us.

My husband and I have already started telling everyone we know never to use a Tires Plus again. Our money will now go elsewhere! Rather than completely going through and finding out exactly what needed to be done on Day 1 when we took the 1993 Isuzu Rodeo to this Tires Plus they assumed that the first thing they did would be correct and then after they realized it wasn't they starting piecing it together until the air conditioning system finally worked. As customers we feel we got the runaround and have dealt with a business who is not knowledgeable or just doesn't care.

Doesn't Tires Plus appreciate their long-term customers enough to make sure as not to piss them off and keep them from coming back? We have never heard of companies allowing their employees to act in such a disregard as to cost so as to piece together an entire new air conditioning system rather than just replace it all at once.

On top of this the Store Manager Joe didn't stick to what he told us and he kept upping the price to the point that he actually didn't bother to tell us about another price increase he did.

Thanks very much for your time and attention. We would greatly appreciate a prompt response.

To Whom It May Concern:

On July 18, 2004 we filed a complaint against this store. We was told by Aaron at the store that he would do whatever it took to make this right so that he wouldn't lose our business. Since then he has not done anything and on top of the last complaint we now have another complaint.

3 weeks ago the a/c went out again in my husbands Isuzu Rodeo. We were told the Expansion Valave was not working correctly and they were ordering another Expansion Valve. We were told it would be at no cost to us and it would be just a few days.

As of today no one from the store has called to tell us it was in. We have called numerous times and spoke to Aaron, Tom, and Joe, and since this time they keep telling us they will call us back and yet we have gotten no phone calls. We feel that these managers at this store have no regard for their customer other than to make money. We would like to hear from a REAL Tires Plus Manager and we would like a satisfactory settlement on our problems we have had with this store.
