I reported a case of Identity theft and filled out all the necessary paperwork for Transunion. Several Transunion employees continuously fabricated stories to keep from cleaning my report of erroneous reports even after I gave them documentation from my local police department etc. At first they said they weren’t going to accept the police report, then when I provided documentation stating the police department is federally recognized they accepted it and removed several of the false reports. They seemed to be protecting credit collecting agencies and credit card companies by refusing to remove the reports. After several months of calls approximately 1 years worth and over 165 hours of my time wasted all of the bogus reports were removed. A month or so later the same amount of false credit was placed in my collections report areas but under a new name. I provided documentation again stating the reports were for Identity theft and that they should be removed. I spoke with a young lady who was very nasty and asked to speak to her supervisor. She told me she didn’t have one, then I insisted she got another employee on the phone pretending to be a supervisor. Her charade didn’t last long, because I asked to speak to a manager after several more minutes of berating aggravaiting comments. She said a supervisor would have to call me back, I agreed then hung up. The supervisor called me back removed several of the reports and I asked WHY weren’t they blocked as they said they would, she didn’t have an answer.

Now 2 years or so later I have after months of constantly doing this YET another reported false creditor Midland Funding on my credit report for an account that is not mine. I suggest suing all of the credit bureaus in the future because if you are a victim of ID theft they let this occur over and over. AND it always happens on the weekend, they are closed, yet the bogus account shows up, lowers your credit score in seconds yet it takes you Months to get it back up again. I intend to sue them and every bogus account holder in the future if I make the statement that it isn’t my account. Provide documentation and they refuse to stop harassing me.
