I saw a promotion via fax at my job. It was labeled Carnival Fun Ships, "6 days/5 night stay in Cancun, Cabo San Lucas, Jamaica or DR for only $99." I saw the fax on May 14 and called the phone number right away. I called 877-763-9119.

The guy, John explained to me that it is only $99 for the whole trip, and that after I speak to the reservation department, then they will give me the info on the choices I get to stay. I gave the reservations department my information and debit card number, which they were explaining that I need to book fast because the promotion gets booked up real fast and I don't want to miss my chance. I was at work and flustered, so I gave the debit number and they said I was going to receive my receipt and info package on how to choose my destination in my email within 24 hours. I waited 25 hours and in the morning the following day, May 15, 2015, I received an email with the subject "Docusign Reminder: Please review and activate your trip if any problems please call 855 - 883 - 1865" It looked suspicious because there was no information on the packages and choices I get to pick, but it had a form to sign with mismatch dates (stating travel of 8/6/15 and 5/6/15" I called the number 855-883-1865 and it just kept ringing a bunch of times and once someone answered and said "hola," and i was explaining my situation and they hung up on me.

I attempted to call more than 10 times! No one would answer. SO I called the original number 877-763-9119 and the "sales" team stated they would transfer me over to the 1865 number and each time they did, it would hang up. I eventually called my bank to see if I can stop the charge but they said I have to file a dispute because it was already taken out of my account.

I paid them $350 because they said I can book for 2 people ($99 each plus their taxes and fees) and add other people later, up to 12 months of 6 people for the same price. At the time I was excited because I thought it was legit and I was getting a real good deal since it said "Carnival." But after I received the docusign, I started to realize it was a scam and didn't want to give them their money and tried to do the research and found all these scams on this website. Today I saw on the BBB website that it is not an accredited business. I am in the process of filing a dispute with my bank so they can help me receive my money back. It is already 6/2/15.
