When I realized I'd need to look for new credit card terminals to accept the new chip cards I first called my credit card company to purchase new equiment. We do a lot of onsite sales so I knew I'd need to really do an upgrade. I also called some other companies and looked online to see what is a competitive price.

I knew something wasn't right with Trinity Merchant Group because they'd changed their name a few times but said they were the same company. Statements became sporadic and with different names but the same address. I've been with them for 4 years. I decided to change companies and first called Trinity to give them one more chance to fix my fee rate and give me a decent equiment price. The salesman didn't call me back. I downloaded their stop service form and mailed it to them.

I noticed on my checking account they were still charging fees although I'd not used their services. I called and asked for a refund and to let them know I'd given them fair notice. They asked what address I'd sent it to. It was on the top of the form and the gentleman said I'd sent it to the wrong address AND I'd need to send it certified or it'd be ignored. He also said there we an early termination fee of $500+. The also deducted it from my checking account along with the $200+ service fee. So they've beat me out of over $1000.00 knowing I'd quit using their services.

Don't do business with this company if you can figure out what name they're using this week. Sad these companies know how to rip off small businesses so well. I guess we're all fair game.
