On March of 2011, On Trek Student Travel agreed to utilize the application provided by Tripz Systems. Kurt Carter, the owner informed us that the application had everything we needed and provided remote-based demo's. During this period the non-technical staff were told the application was fully functional and some minor modifications had to be made. Theapplication was sold for a total of $15,000 of which was not delivered as promised. Theapplication was installed on several desktop computers, but no training manuals were given (because there was none) so the staff were forced to write their own!

As user began to use the application, there were several technical malfunctions and bugs with the application and so many that it was completely unusable'. After reporting several financial miscalculations and buggy behavior, we notified the CEO Kurt Carter and he had promised to fix this issue/. The issues arose around April and were not fixed until November|. By this time, we were in danger of going out of business if we would have focused on using this unusable application'. In addition to the lack of functionality in this application, the CEO (who seemed to be a one man operation) promised several "training" sessions requiring our staff to be available and be off the phones had rescheduled several times. This became a consistent issue that continued to put us in a position where our business would fail should we had continued with this unprofessional process.

Over the last few months, I have made contact with Kurt Carter, the CEO of Tripz Systems, a Canadian company and he has promised to call me back and resolve this manner. He has been inconsistent and has not returned my phone call one time. I have several emails dating back to the original procurement date without resolution. We gave him several options and chances to resolve this issue and he has failed to respond. I urge you not to do business with this company as he will not stand by his promises.

Unfortunately little if any of this supposed "rip off" report is true. The author, Gabe Cuevas, did not even work at the company when any of the initial evaluation, purchase, training or implementation occurred. 

He has left out many, many important facts in order to create the impression that we somehow defrauded our client, On Trek.  The situation is quite different than the one which he is portraying. 

After spending many hours training and recommending specific implementation plan, things ground to a halt.  We have had no response from our client in our attempts to implement modules that we provided even after providing custom development that they purchased.

He has also deliberately hidden the fact that he is in fact a competitor, that is, he has created a competitive system for features that we provide. His first call to me was to demand a refund and to state that we had failed the client. He is trying to force us out of this account and put himself in a favourable position. 

I have not received any communication from the client of their concerns until Gabe came into the picture.

He is acting in an unprofessional and unethical manner and his claims should not be trusted because they are not based in fact. I will be contacting the owners of On Trek to sort this out because it is clear that Mr. Cuevas has no interest in resolving this.
