"QUOTE" From Mary Jarvis ripoff Tupper Lake New York

Here is a quote that mary stated in one of the "IVY TERRACE PRESSES" that she sent out to over 200 tenants a little while back.


"What? You say you can't afford rent elsewhere? Well with the affordable rent here there are rules and regs. If you want no rules you may have to pay higher rent elsewhere but the choice is yours. We adjust everytime there is a change in your income up or down and always encourage you to bring your information in when your income does go down so we can adjust it for you. IF IT GOES UP - IT DOES NOT DO SO FOR 2 MONTHS SO YOU CAN HAVE TIME TO LOOK ELSEWHERE IF YOU DONT LIKE THE AMOUNT."

**The tenants were planning on drawing up a petition I am taking it so they could bring it to the board with all of their complaints against mary jarvis.***

So here is a quote that she stated in this letter towards the petition she was pissed off about!! LOL..

"These are HUDS rules. My position requires that I enforce them. Is there a possibility that the author of the petition committed a major fraud against the housing authority?and is angry because he/she was caught at it? Do you suppose this person is being 'unethical and malicious' because he/she was caught?you pay you fair share while we were paying someone dishonest to live here? To say that mary jo is my puppet is laughable. Speaking of the board of commisioners - there is a meeting every month usually always the first wednesday at 4pm unless there is a conflict. The board is the one with the power to HIRE AND FIRE so they are the ones that should be addressed if you wish to pursue that regarding my position."

****Now read this very carefully. This comment that mary made, which has to be a lie because thses are papaers that we have been signing for many years now****

"Mary Jo follows the rules set forth by HUD and one of the 'new' ones is that we must have third party verification on all income sources from our residents. So why do any of you just come to the board meetings instead of filling out and sending around a petition? And the whispering shouldnt be going on either. All you need to do is come to these board meetings and addressing the problems."

"I beg to differ that everyone has had a run in with me in one way or another as the petition states. The majority of our residents are terriffic persons who we love to talk to and work with. Naturally though, there are few who love nothing more than to make trouble! Go figure. Darned if I do and darned if I dont I guess!"

****This was what Mary Jarvis wrote at the end of her big speech to everyone at the ivy terrace****

"P.S. this response is for informational purposes and when someone circulates a petition or a nasty rumor or the like without basis and without tellling the truth or full facts about an issue it can be very detrimental to many persons."



There was much more to this letter she typed up and magnetized to over 200 tenants at ivy terrace. But thought getting just the more important things out in the open were more detrimental.
