Because of a last minute move, I could only book through U-Haul. Ended up picking up the vehicle at the Midpark Location in Midnapore which is also a carwash. Needless to say, the final charges were not similar to the rate
quoted the day prior. The young man who worked there could not remember my last name and needed to ask three times during the return. The owner was foul-mouthed and said if I didn't like the service not to rent from them
again. I had verbally indicated the day prior that I would have the vehicle back by noon (as I had requested a 24 hour rental over the internet) and that I wished to decline the optional insurance. Neither of these requests were honored and what should have been an 80.00 charge ended up being 171.00

When I attempted to get them to change that, they indicated that they would not and that they had mentioned the charges the day earlier (this from a
fellow who could not recall my last name and needed three separate prompts in the space of 15 minutes). They said if I didn't pay it didn't matter and
that it would just go to collection. I would strongly suggest that anyone renting from this location be very careful and make sure that you document everything.

231 midpark blvd sw calgary alberta canada is the location. operating also as a carwash--was your car at your own peril lol.

Further, I should let you know that the agents DO NOT have my signature on the mastercard bill and that they have a signature from somone who had accompanied me. Having had contact with mastercard, they have informed me that this is not binding. I am prepared to sign a mastercard charge at the location of rental for the following to resolve this circumstance without
any further prejudice:

One days rental with kilometer charges without additional charges for insurance.

Thank you,

I guess all would have been fine, save for the portion of the deal in which the U-Haul representative could not remember what he had said 10 minutes prior to what he had been told, but claims to be able to remember what he
had been told or said the day before. I have contacted the media and the better business bureau (as well as my credit card company in terms of doing a complete chargeback) here in the city and they seem eager to do some follow up on this story. I should add that I am a teacher and that I have extensive experience in documenting and anecdoting the experiences I have.
